WoW TCG: Aftermath: Throne of the Tides adds monsters to the mix
As the Worldbreaker series comes to an end, we now turn to the aftermath of Deathwing's destructive awakening into Azeroth and the continued battle against the elements and the Twilight Hammer Cult. The newest WoW TCG expansion, Aftermath: Throne of the Tides, puts players in control of murloc, naga, and ogre heroes as exciting new additions to the WoW TCG hero lineup. Playing as some of the more monstrous races in the World of Warcraft universe is pretty cool, with all new keywords and abilities to take advantage of during gameplay. In addition, Throne of the Tides has been built from the ground up to be a smoother draft and sealed play experience, preparing even the newest players for fun, engaging tournament play. Cryptozoic previews new goblin and worgen allies for WoW TCG Worldbreaker set
Cryptozoics' posterous blog has been nothing short of an amazing wealth of information about Worldbreaker, the newest expansion for the WoW Trading Card Game. Loads of new abilities, cards, allies, heroes and more are being shown off, and for TCG fans, all of this new stuff looks to be pretty dang fun. In addition, worgen and goblin allies have been introduced! Each new race has a cool new ability associated with it: worgen allies with the Aberration keyword cannot be dealt non-combat damage, and goblins allies with the Time is Money keyword can use exhaust abilities as soon as they enter play. These new allies, as well as all of the revealed information, are bringing some fascinating new play mechanics to the trading card game. Dell to stuff Seagate's encryption HDD into Latitude D630 / D830
Yeah, Seagate's uber-secure 2.5-inch Momentus 5400 FDE.2 hard drive has been available on the open market for some time, but Dell is looking to become to first big player to offer it up within its laptops. Starting "this week," the Latitude D630 and D830 will be available with the crypto drive as an option, and it will come bundled with the Embassy Trust Suite from software company Wave Systems. Officially, Dell has yet to reveal how much it'll cost to upgrade to the drive, but judging by the Higher Education order portal, swapping in a 120GB encrypted HDD will run you $152.10 more than the vanilla 60GB unit the D630 comes with.
SecureGSM SP crypto software for WM5 smartphones
Windows Mobile Smartphone users now have a new way to conduct their shady business in secret, thanks to a newly-released version of Australian developer SecureGSM's "military-grade" crypto software. Designed to incorporate seamlessly with the WinMo UI, SecureGSM SP delivers on-the-fly data encryption for communicating with other SecureGSM-enabled devices, and promises voice quality that's "comparable to standard mobile communication." Processor requirements for the ~$190 app are pretty light, with any device running faster than 175MHz making the cut, but system requirements are a bit stricter, as you'll need the MSFP-sporting WM5 AKU2 installed if you want to enjoy conversations free of eavesdropping.
