You wouldn't think it would have taken Cornice 8 months to announce a 2GB growth in their drives, but the portable drive manufacturer announced their first (but not the first) 12GB 1-inch Dragon series drive, due to ship to OEMs Q306 for $85 apiece. It'll still be a little while before you start seeing portables showing up with 12GBs of capacity (think about how few 10GB devices you see as is), but something tells us Cornice is really going to have to step up their game if they're going to outrun Samsung and their NAND flash production abilities.[Via Impress]

I've seen a lot of crazy things on the Lightninghoof server, but I never expected to walk outside from checking my bank box in Stormwind to find a huge red dragon in the middle of the Trade District square, killing innocent lowbies by the dozens. The dragon was Teremus the Devourer, who usually resides in the Blasted Lands. How he got to Stormwind remains a mystery, but people spent a good five minutes arguing about who pulled him there before finally banding together to actually do something about it.Finally, a militia was formed, the dragon was led to Stormwind Keep, and with the help of the king's guards, was finally killed, but not before leaving literally hundreds of piles of bones in his wake. The streets looked like an undead crash pad for hours afterwards. It was definitely something to see, even if it did mean me missing the fishing contest in Booty Bay again.  I took some pics with my magical medieval camera so the horror would not be soon forgotten...you can see them right here. Me, I can't look anymore....

We already knew that the Burning Crusade expansion will feature flying mounts, but at E3 we've seen firsthand the Flying Drake, one of these mounts. Zones like Outland are being designed with flying mounts -- which are available at level 70 -- in mind, so getting your new mount will unlock new content within these zones. The Flying Drake was demonstrated with a Draenei character, but we don't know which other mounts will be available, or to whom. Given the existing quest storylines, gryphons or hippogryphs may be a possibility, but it's likely that Blizzard will introduce some brand new mounts as well.

Shonen Jump magazine recently ran news of Bandai's first Revolution offering being none other than a Dragon Ball Z title. Not much else is said about the game, but we're fairly certain there'll be a significant number of individuals with over-grown, over-bleached, over-radioactive hair. There is also surely going to be a lot of grunting, powerful auras of concentrated energy, and a fight or two.[via Go Nintendo]

  • Lair off-screen trailer looked good at GDC

Stills and screenshots can only do so much to convey how good a game looks. Here's an off-screen video presentation of Lair recorded from GDC, showing off the Factor 5 game in action (or, should we say, motion). You might recognize some of the animation from videos seen elsewhere, but it was nice to catch the newer footage of a dragon wireframe model meticulously rendered with layers of musculature and skin, too.If that's not enough for ya, you can always just listen in to the audio, which features a young lady from Washington asking questions of a developer with the hope of getting hired. Consider this a lesson in networking.[Via GameBrink]
