There are laptop cooling pads and there are laptop cooling pads, and we've got to hand it to Enermax for building the biggest and silliest one we've ever seen. The Aeolus cooling pad features just a single fan, but it's an 8.66-inch diameter monster, capable of reducing temps by 22 degrees Celsius (39.6 degrees Fahrenheit) while only putting out 20dB of noise. On top that, it's got integrated blue LEDs for additional nerd cred -- although we're wondering how you're supposed to actually see them while your furnace of a laptop is parked on top. Should be around now for about $70, we hear.

It's not too often we see a diamond-cut solid brushed aluminum keyboard (complete with steel mesh grill), but Enermax's hotshot new Caesar keyboard definitely made us sit up and take notice. Successor to the Crystal aluminum keyboard, weighing in at 3.2 friggin mounds and blocking off 20.5 x 8.46 x 1.1-inches (521 x 215 x 28mm) of desk space, this mound of metal also has a couple of USB 2.0 ports, a built-in audio device (what for we're not yet entirely sure), five media and five Vista buttons, and scissor-mounted keys. It's a surprisingly low $75 per, but we'll be waiting pit it against the Optimus Maximus in the keyboard Thunderdome.%Gallery-11615%

So you dropped a few grand on the latest aluminum Core Duo laptop with matching LCD for the home only to find that plastic-ass, white keyboard soiling your kit? We feel ya, so here's the Crystal keyboard from ENERMAX. Now this isn't one of those cheapo, aluminum-look keyboards; the Crystal is all aluminum, all the time and diamond cut to create what they call the first "massive aluminum keyboard" consisting of a not so massive 1.55-millimeter (0.06-inch) thick aluminum plate fused to the key assembly. It features scissor-mounted, laser printed keys (for good feel without fade) with an audio in/out interface and 2 x USB ports along the sides. Oh, and they'd like you to know that up close, this 2.42-pound peripheral is "not safe to look at due to risk of hypnosis." Yeah, whutevah. On sale in Japan starting July 10th for an expected price of ¥9,800 or about $86 of the green. [Via Impress]
