What we're watching: Sing it with me: "All I want for Chrismas is no more repeats, no more repeats, no more repeats..."; no Alvin, Simon and Theodore couldn't have sung it better. Unfortunately, it's a slow time of the year for new programming. We'll give you a choice, depending on your sports preferences. If you're into NHL Hockey, tune in to INHD at 8 p.m. for a 1080i presentation of the NHL on OLN (on INHD; don't ask). Tonight's game takes place in St. Louis where the Stars take on the Blues. If you prefer the NFL, you can catch ABC's last Monday Night Football game tonight at 9 p.m. The game between the Patriots and Jets is a real yawner; the better part of the broadcast is expected to be the various highlights over the last 36 years from MNF as it moves to EPSN next year. We take our helmets hats off to three-and-a-half decades of great Monday Night Football on ABC; the high-def presentations over the past several years were fantastic. After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.

What we're watching: I wish there was some good high-def Christmas programming to tell you about, but it's slim pickin's tonight. The closest I can do for you is 1998's "I'll Be Home for Christmas" on ABC at 9 p.m. in 720p. By that time, my kids will be in bed; not asleep of course, it's Christmas Eve! They will be in bed, so I'll be watching one of my favorites in high-definition: "Gladiator". No, that won't get me in the Christmas spirit, but boy if that isn't a great movie in 1080i! Feel free to get those last minute gifts wrapped early and join me at 8 p.m. onTNT-HD. Ok, so maybe I'll have to send the kids to bed an hour earlier... After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.

What we're watching: It's re-run city for the second night in a row on the major networks. Somehow, Pamela Anderson has a new episode of "Stacked" on Fox at 8:30 p.m. If the thought of Pam in 720p is appealing, tun on in. If not, tune in anyway because it's the only new show tonight. If you prefer Clint Eastwood over her "Pam-ness", you could surf over to HDNet Movies at 8:05 p.m. "Heartbreak Ridge" is available in 1080i, and while this 1986 flick wasn't one of Eastwood's best, any Eastwood movie is better than a night of re-runs! After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.

What we're watching: There's snow covering the ground where I am, but that doesn't mean the golf season is over! Besides, practice makes perfect (or in my case, keeps my handicap above a 30) so INHD is helping me out this evening. At 7 p.m., INHD has a 1080i broadcast of "Golf Lesson". This is episode number two, but what could they have taught in the first one? "Please address the ball." "OK, hello ball!"
