Whether your interests lie in carving up ancient Greece's cryptozoological creatures, or creeping your way through government installations, this week's PSN update aims to please. There's the God of War HD Collection: Volume II (the two titles from which can also be bought piecemeal), the Splinter Cell Trilogy HD and, for good measure, Fast Draw Showdown, because, hey, why not? Choose your platform to view the corresponding release list: (Note: Continue past the break to view both release lists.)

PSN is bringing the small, evenly weighted guns to PSN with Fast Draw Showdown, slinging onto Move on July 19. The PS3 version of Showdown is revamped from the WiiWare release of the arcade FMV light gun game, including multiplayer modes, online leaderboards and every cowboy's secret weapon -- a new wardrobe. Fast Draw Showdown will cost $9.99 on PSN next week, so polish your pistols now ... although that probably won't do much good for the game, since it uses Move controllers.

Today, you have the choice between carefree flight and life-or-death escape. On WiiWare, a minigame collection called Play with Birds lets you ... play with birds. Meanwhile, on DSiWare, you can attempt to find a way out of the mysterious prison into which you've been thrown unjustly. For a different kind of high stakes, DSiWare's Art of Ink lets you simulate tattooing your customers. You'd better do it right, because there's no DSiWare laser tattoo removal game yet.%Gallery-120842%%Gallery-120841%

Those of you with doodling on the brain now have an adventure waiting for you on the Wii Shop Channel! Additionally, on DSiWare, Nintendo continues to dole out single Electroplankton instruments. The full list of release for the week follows: Fast Draw Showdown (WiiWare, 1 player, 500 Wii Points) Max and the Magic Marker (WiiWare, 1 player, 1,000 Wii Points) Electroplankton: Trapy DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points) Electroplankton: Nanocarp (DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points)

This week might be a bit lighter on the triple-A WiiWare content than last week (which saw the releases of Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth and The Magic Obelisk), but there are still numerous titles available for Wii and DSi owners. One of which is Final Fight 3! And one more of which, you lucky downloaders, is the promised Fast Draw Showdown, which means you can be shooting at full motion video–captured, Old West–types today. A "yee-haw" would seem appropriate right now. %Gallery-81376%

Do you hate mid-90s FMV game actors? Do you love light gun games? You're going to be thrilled about this upcoming WiiWare release from Digital Leisure. This Monday, you'll be able to shoot several of those actors in Fast Draw Showdown on WiiWare. Originally released to arcades in 1994, Fast Draw Showdown is a series of -- what else? -- showdowns against various Old West stereotypes, culminating in a match against real-life quick draw expert Wes Flowers. There's a trailer after the break -- if you pretend to shoot at everyone on the screen, it'll be just like playing the game!
