    Were you planning on watching Guild Wars 2's Tournament of Glory PvP livestream this weekend? No? What if we told you that you could win a precursor weapon or "a cute and cuddly Mini Llama?" Yep, that's what ArenaNet said in its latest blog post, which hypes both the North American and the European ToG finals. The Euro matches begin on Saturday, October 11th at 12:00 p.m. EDT. North American players take the stage on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. EDT.

  • Guild Wars 2's Tournament of Legends expands

    ArenaNet has made some changes to Guild Wars 2's upcoming Tournament of Legends PvP event due to an "overwhelming turnout." The tourney will now feature 64 teams per region instead of the original 16, and two additional rounds have been added as a result. The EU region tournament begins on April 26th, while the North American edition starts May 3rd. Additional details including start times, prizes, and the scheduled map rotation are available at the GW2 website.

  • GW2's Flame & Frost: The Gathering Storm coming February 26

    The second installment in Guild Wars 2's Flame and Frost content extravaganza has been dated. That date is February 26th, and you can expect to see a new PvP map called Spirit Watch as well as new guild missions and merits. There's also a new type of competitive PvP in the wings, and it involves two teams of "equal average rating" duking it out in quick matches with ratings and bragging rights on the line.     ArenaNet trotted out a trio of game devs yesterday to answer your Guild Wars 2 questions via livestream. The vidcast has since been archived on the company's TwitchTV channel, and we've also embedded it just past the cut for your convenience. Taking center stage are Anet's Mike Zadorojny, Jonathan Sharp, and Matt Witter. Topics include revitalizing deserted PvE areas, a new achievement system, and various world-vs. world tweaks.
