The Blume cigar humidifier keeps tabs on your collection

If you forget to check on the packs or miss a low water or battery alarm, you could be throwing away the money you've invested in your smoking habit. The company has developed Blume: a smart humidification device that connects to your phone to help you keep tabs on the storage space.
Scarface Blu-ray's $699 Limited Edition Humidor case, fan art revealed
We already let you know that Scarface will be released on Blu-ray September 6th, but we should mention that the true fans (and cigar enthusiasts) can snag a limited edition copy in its own hand-crafted humidor box. There will only be 1,000 sold and we're sure your imported cigars will appreciate the untreated Spanish cedar and 1,000 coat brilliant finish. You can see a few angles in the pictures here, while the Blu-ray trailer and snaps of winning fan art to be included in the set as collectible cards await after the break. How much will it cost to get your hands on one of these boxes? The MSRP is $999, but Amazon as always is offering them for the low, low price of just $699. Slightly less rabid fans can grab the SteelBook release for $24.99.
The Stephenson G-Metric Nano casemod is pure Bioshock
The old cliche informs us that a picture is worth a thousand words, and in the case of Jeffery Stephenson's PC enclosures -- that's most definitely true. His latest design comes in the form of a sleek, tiny deco-styled wooden box, crafted from a disused cigar humidor and loaded with a VIA NX15000 Nano-ITX motherboard, 1GB of RAM, and a hidden optical drive around the side. The end result comes off looking like some time-warp artifact straight out of Bioshock -- and leaves us wishing Mr. Stephenson would get into mass production of these babies.
