But that direct link between socialite and fan is perhaps eroding a little, with the news that the Kardashians and Kylie Jenner are shutting down the apps.

But given that it's a live, unscripted show, those watching it on the social media platform might be chosen to lend their pranking expertise. There's even a keyboard, in case you need to slip that "break the internet" magazine cover into a conversation.
