With the buzz of Guild Wars 2 ramping up, some players are deciding to give the original Guild Wars a try so they understand the world's lore. Meanwhile, other players who have been enjoying the game for some time are taking time to look back at old adventures, as today's Guild Wars One Shots from Marc shows. He rolled an alt with friends and writes in to tell us about it: "Heya, my name is Marc The Hidden from the United Champions of War guild. A friend and I were going back to our Ascalon roots with our newer characters. We spent some time looking over the scenery of the broken-down kingdom and managed to capture this brilliant picture of my character overlooking the scorched lands." Whether you're a newcomer or an old MMO vet, we would love to see screenshots from you! If you'd like to participate, then grab a great screenshot from your favorite MMO and email it to us here at oneshots@massively.com along with your name, the name of the game, and a description of what we're seeing in the image. Please make sure your image is attached to the email as well, since we're getting a lot of emails without images attached lately! Your picture could be the next one we post out here on Massively! %Gallery-112285%

There's no denying that Aion has some beautiful art. Aside from the detailed wings splayed all over the game's advertising, there's also a plethora of finery players can enjoy getting dressed up in. But what's the point of getting all dressed up if you have no place to show it off? Well, if you're out of ideas, you could do what today's contributor, Marc, does when he's kitted out. We'll let him explain: "This is what the roleplayers on Gorgos do when there's a double experience weekend. Well -- the wacky ones from the LFRP channel, that is. We all love a filled experience bar, so we went and partied like madmen! Dance parties in Aion rock. Unfortunately, the music in that place wasn't really danceable though -- it's Asmodian." Find something worth sharing on your recent adventures? Just in the mood to show off what you've been doing? All you have to do is email your screenshots to us at oneshots@massively.com along with your name, the game your screenshots are from, and a quick note about what we're seeing. We'll post it out here and give you credit for sending it in! %Gallery-85937%

In the June issue of Play magazine, Marc Ecko commented on the gaming industry again, on everything from the current state of things to some of his most favorite games of the past. What stood out the most, however, were his comments about loving his DS more than his Xbox 360.Play: You're obviously a huge gamer. What are some of your favorite titles? Ecko: I've been obsessed with games since childhood. Favorite titles... where do i begin? Atari, Colecovision, i had all of them. Yar's Revenge, whatever. The NES Mario, Sega's Sonic, of course. I remember being immediately hooked by Metal Gear Solid, and on PS2 GTA3. Lately i've been playing a lot of DS games, i've found found a lot of them more fun than the Xbox 360 launch titles. Although i have to admit Fight Night 3 is amazing. I could go on for days, i have billions of games. Oh yeah, World of Warcraft is beginning to ruin my life. We're not huge fans of the guy, but we can't help but back up a statement as strong as that.
