The weird ads just keep on coming out of Sony these days. Syphon Filter, one of the PSP's best exclusive games, has been out in the states for quite some time. Unfortunately for Europe, they just got the game relatively recently. In order to promote this stealth action shooter, Sony hired a scantily clad man to run around his house, acting a little silly. It's funny, but I question the wardrobe choice: certainly this commercial would've been just as funny if he were wearing pants. Due to the excessive amount of male skin in the commercial, I deem it somewhat not safe for work. Check it after the cut:

Looks like our friends across the pond are going to have to wait even longer than expected to see this player in action, so we thought we'd let y'all peep some hands on pics of the Samsung BD-P1000 and its innards while your spirits are still down. The word on the street is that load times are a fairly snappy 15 seconds or so, but that there might be some lame 1080p24 to 1080i60 to 1080p60 conversion going on for HDMI output, so we'll be on the lookout for more details as they come.[Via HD Beat]Read - Samsung BD-P1000 hands on & cracked open @ AVS ForumRead - Samsung BD-P1000 hands on at Avsite.grRead - Samsung BD-P1000 cracked open at HDTVPolska (registration -- in polish -- required)

Loyal Engadget reader turned gadget pornographer Francis noticed how much we cared for Sandisk's new Sansa e200 series MP3 players, so he cracked his open and sent us pictures of the silicon and flash memory goodness that spilled forth from within. Sure, the photos don't leave much to the imagination, but you can't tell us you weren't wondering what that navigation wheel looked like under its shiny plastic cover. Don't worry, we're not here to judge.[Thanks, Francis]

These days you're not a real gadget unless somebody splays you across their workbench for all the world to see. Apple products are especially privy to such treatment, and the MacBook is proving no exception, going from announcement to dissection in roughly 24 hours. The dissasembler over at Kodawarisan responsible for this was quite thorough, and along the way displays a couple of the niceities of the MacBook. First off, the RAM slots are quite convenient. You just remove the screws from the memory door and you have access to the two slots, with little ejector tabs to help you with your efforts. Replacing the hard drive is just as easy (pictured bottom left), which means you can finally replace your own drive without voiding the warranty. Perpendicular storage here we come![Via Tuaw, Zatz Not Funny]
