If you've been waiting for AT&T's WiFi calling service to start working outside the US, you may want to install iOS 9.3 on your iPhone right now. It won't only bring Night Shift to your device, but also the ability to call from other countries without incurring additional charges. So long as the feature has been toggled on in Settings, and you're connected to a WiFi connection, you can make or receive calls abroad even if you barely have coverage. If you dial an international number, though, you'll have to pay your plan's usual rates.

AT&T isn't just banking on the LG G5 to start its spring with a bang. After months of sorting out glitches, LG is re-launching the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE on AT&T as of today. The cellular-linked, NumberSync-friendly Android Wear piece is available for $18 per month on a 20-month installment plan ($360 total), or $100 if you buy it alongside a G5 on an AT&T Next plan. That's before the $10 per month you'll need to pay to add the smartwatch to your shared data plan, we'd add. If you absolutely need to stay online when your phone is at home, though, this might hit the spot.

If you've wanted a smartwatch that could take its own calls without having to use a separate phone number, relief is in sight... as long as you're willing to subscribe to AT&T, anyway. The carrier has revealed that it will start taking orders for its first two NumberSync-capable smartwatches, the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition (above) and Samsung Gear S2, on November 6th. The LTE-equipped LG watch will ship first, arriving in stores on November 13th for either $15 per month (on a 20-month plan) or $200 on a contract. The 3G-based Gear S2 will cost you the same amount when it arrives a week later, on November 20th. You'll still have to tack on $10 per month to your shared data plan to get either watch online, but that could be worth it if you no longer have to worry about missing conversations when you leave your phone at home.

  • AT&T NumberSync lets one phone number rule all your connected gadgets

We're encumbered with more connected silicon than ever before, and having to juggle multiple phone numbers for wearables and bigger screens, well, really sucks. To that end, AT&T just announced NumberSync, a free service that links all your other connected AT&T gizmos (think 3G smartwatches or tablets) to your main phone number. Better yet, incoming calls and text messages will get routed to all those devices at once -- none of this hokey call-forwarding nonsense.
