It's the day after Thanksgiving, commonly known as Black Friday. Today is not unlike your typical day in World of Warcraft. Americans scour the sale ads online and in print, and strategize how they're going to get their loot.Olibith's Machinima interpretation of "Teh n00b Song", by Pure Pwnage, is the perfect theme for the day. A poor n00b thinks he can just kill wolves in peace, but teh_pwnerer has other plans for him. As little Fyapowa is taunted mercilessly, he tries to fight back, but to no avail. As you're kicking and punching your way to better deals, think of Fyapowa and teh_pwnerer. Were you the n00b or the pwner today? As a fair warning, the pwner gets his just deserts in the end!

When an orc wakes up with a horrible hangover and no booze in sight, he heads for the video store. The clerk begins showing him a series of movies, some hits and some misses. This Machinima has it all - guns, anime girls, tentacles, music, and murlocs.BaronSoosdon has done it again! With voice acting by Nyhm & Olibith, and creative use of World of Warcraft and Unreal Tournament 2004, it's no surprise that this movie won first prize in the comedy category of the Fabled Few contest. My personal favorite mini-clip was "Unlimited Escapism - Liberation." What was your favorite moment?

If you love World of Warcraft, and children that bear the mark of the beast, then this is the Machinima for you! Olibith modeled this video after the 2006 trailer for the remake of The Omen. If you haven't seen the classic movie, it's about a couple that adopts a child who may be the Antichrist. As a fan of the movie, I noticed that it follows the storyline pretty closely. However, there are some funny personal touches to it. I wouldn't mind seeing an entire in-game re-remake of this film! In the meantime, I won't be adopting any gnomes in WoW ...

Today's Moviewatch is another machinima piece by Olibith, which is at once scary and laughably absurd. It's based on a trailer for the movie, The Omen, about a father who finds out that adopted son is actually the son of the devil. The gnOmen uses gnomes instead of humans, of course, but it's still frightening to see bad things about to happen to the adorable little humanoids... or is it just weird? Personally, I like Olibith's Somethin' Stupid much better, but different sorts a people like different sorts of machinima. If movies like The Omen creep you out with demonic symbols and such things, then I advise against watching this movie. Otherwise, what do you think? Is this horror, or comedy, or both?[Via Warcraftmovies.com]Previously on WoW Moviewatch...

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you've undoubtedly seen one of Olibith's many marvelous machinima features. We've highlighted a few of them here in our Moviewatch feature, and will undoubtedly do so as he continues to make films. However, it was left to followers of his blog to know anything more about the man behind the gnome. At least, until Blizzard EU sat down with him for a truly fantastic interview. Some of the highlights of their community spotlight include how Olibith got his start in the field of machinima, how he feels the French (and international) machinima community is evolving, right down to how he manages to balance just the right amount of funny without going into overkill. For all of you budding machinimators and fans alike, this is one interview not to be missed.

In this edition of Moviewatch, we're treated to Olibith's version of the Frank & Nancy Sinatra duet "Somethin' Stupid" which is very very mushy in its own right. (Of course, being dedicated to his loves, it's understandable) However, when put into WoW, and featuring two Gnomes who eventually get involved in a bit of naked backflip bedroom acrobatics (yes, you read that correctly) it crosses the line from smooshy sweet into silly. Of course you can't have naked backflip bedroom acrobatics without mentioning that this could be considered very mildly NSFW, so unless you're good at stifling a chuckle, and/or naked Gnomes won't get you busted...Although if your girlfriend or boyfriend thinks Gnomes are cool, linking this to them could get you some brownie points. ;)Previously, on Moviewatch...
