Wonderfully predictable Humble Bundle has added three new games to the Humble Bundle with Android 7: Anomaly Korea from 11-Bit Studios, Broken Sword: Director's Cut from Revolution Software and Organ Trail: Director's Cut from The Men Who Wear Many Hats. Plus, this round adds Europe DLC for Ticket to Ride, a game already included in the Humble Bundle. Get these newbies by paying more than the average price. Humble Bundle with Android 7 includes Incredipede, Anodyne, Greed Corp and Ticket to Ride (plus USA 1910 DLC) for whatever price you want, with Worms Reloaded and The Bard's Tale thrown in by paying more than the average. All games are available on PC, Mac, Linux and Android, and paying more than $1 grabs Steam keys as well. Whatever you decide to pay, it can all go to a good cause, or to the developers themselves, or to Humble Bundle.

  • Ouya game developers sound off on disappointing sales numbers

The Ouya has been on shelves for nearly a month now, and developers have had a chance to gauge initial sales numbers of their games. Gamasutra polled several developers on their earnings so far, and a handful obliged with straight sales numbers. Adam Spragg, creator of Hidden in Plain Sight – one of our favorite Ouya launch games – has brought in $4,381 on 1,900 purchases sold at a pay-what-you-want price (minimum $1). The port of Foddy's Get On Top has earned $728 off of 9,700 downloads and 520 purchases. BombSquad creator Eric Froemling didn't provide financial numbers, but noted that he "peaked at close to 200 sales per day and [is] currently sitting at around 70" for the $4.99 game." That's not to be confused with BombBall, which creator E McNeill says is making "a little over $30 a day" before Ouya's 30 percent cut. Organ Trail's Ryan Wiemeyer may be the harshest critic, saying that his game "sold about half" of his low-end predictions. The Ouya version of Organ Trail accounts for 500 sales, a meager portion of the 400,000 the game has sold across its available platforms. "I don't even know if it was worth the man hours yet," said Wiemeyer. Meanwhile, TowerFall, probably the most well-known Ouya exclusive, has garnered "about 2000 sales so far at $15 each," creator Matt Thorson told Edge. "Launching on Ouya got me a lot of attention, and the sales have been better than expected." It earned enough attention, apparently, that Thorson is now bringing the game to PC as well. Finally, developer NimbleBit's David Marsh told Edge that its mobile hit Nimble Quest has been downloaded 6,508 times with 122 purchases, earning $427. Since Nimble Quest uses the Unity engine, it was "a snap to port," said Marsh. He recommended the Ouya to any independent developers who already port games to Android. "It's probably not going to be a huge source of income compared to other platforms, but it's dead easy to submit a game and get it into the store."

Steam Greenlight gave the go-ahead to 10 new games today, two of which are decidedly dicey – as in, they involve slicing people open and/or their exposed, internal goo. Surgeon Simulator 2013, the 2013 Global Game Jam phenomenon, is now ready for Steam distribution, along with Organ Trail: Director's Cut, the retro zombie survival game from The Men Who Wear Many Hats. Also on tap for a Steam launch is Hunstman: The Orphanage, a creepy survival-horror hit, along with Anodyne, Distance, Evoland, Kingdom Rush, Legends of Dawn, Receiver and War Thunder. Steam also Greenlit two software titles, a painting tool called Black Ink and PC management service Driver Fusion. Check out the details on all the Greenlit goodies here.

  • New and updated on the App Store: Skype, Kartrider Pit, King's Bounty: Legions, Spell Sword and more

This Tuesday has for some reason brought a bevy of new apps and updates to the App Store, so if you're looking for something to download (or wondering what that little red circled number on your App Store icon means), here's what's new right now. Both Skype for iPhone and Skype for iPad have a big new update the improves performance, and adds a few features into the mix as well. You can now share photos directly with the app, for example, so that should save on MMS charges. King's Bounty: Legions is a popular turn-based strategy game on Facebook that has arrived on the iPad. It looks good, though I haven't tried it out just yet. Nexon, fresh of its success on iOS with KartRider, has introduced a spinoff called Kartrider Pit, that takes the cartoony racing gameplay of the first title and adds a time management layer to it. A big success here would mean lots more Nexon on the App Store, I think -- the game is free to play right now. Spell Sword is a really excellent arcade platformer title that's gotten a big update, most notably changing the game into a free-to-play app. There's lots of new content as well, including new enemies to fight, new Spell Cards to collect, new missions to play, and lots of new items to equip for various stats and upgrades. And finally, Organ Trail, the zombie-themed homage to the old Oregon Trail simulation, has received a big update as well, with lots of bugfixes and lots and lots of gameplay balance changes. It's practically a whole new game, and you can grab it for $2.99 right now. We'll expect more releases later on this week on Thursday, but for some reason Apple slipped these in right away. If you've got these installed or want to try the new ones out, they're all available in an App Store app near you.
