With patch 4.2 coming very, very soon, a new arena season is on the horizon as well. And with a new season of PVP comes a brand new tier of PVP gear! Season 10's gear builds off of the season 9 sets, but with a little bit more flair and badassitude. That's a word, right? Season 10 PVP will begin one week after season 9 ends, after the winners from the previous season are tabulated, and titles and drakes are awarded. Blizzard cautions PVP players who might think that they are eligible for PVP end-of-season rewards not to faction or realm transfer until the tabulation is completed -- it might screw with the numbers and ruin your chances. Check out all of the new season 10 armor sets at the WoW community site. %Gallery-127053%

After a few weeks in testing, Warhammer Online's 1.4.1 patch has hit the live servers today. Topping off the list of improvements to the game is a brand-new claim window, which was designed to handle the various account entitlements that players have accrued. This interface now replaces the in-game mail system as a way to deliver the special goodies that players have earned or purchased over the years. Patch 1.4.1 is also aiming at shaking up the game with two major changes to the status quo. Several PvP armor sets are now much easier to attain, and in many instances they can be purchased at a lower level than before. This means that players will find themselves better-equipped to participate in the brutal hand-to-hand combat that the game offers. WAR is also rotating its scenario lineup: Some scenarios have been called out of retirement, some have changed tiers, and some are being put in mothballs for the time being. You can read the full 1.4.1 patch notes over at Warhammer Online.

Blizzard has put up official info on the new PvP set updates on their armor sets page (just select the PvP superior or PvP epic set from the pull-down menu on the right).  We will see these new sets up on the live realms after the 1.11 content patch.  This does make the PvP sets look less shabby in comparison to the PvE options, and hopefully further planned PvP improvements planned for 1.12 will make matters even better for those that prefer PvP content.

PartingVisions.Com has some information on the PvP armor updates - specifically, screenshots for mage, hunter, druid, warrior, warlock, rogue, shaman, and paladin sets.  (There's a link to an image named priest.jpg that currently seems to be broken.)  You can compare them to the existing PvP sets here.  The changes are losses in some places and gains in others, and your like of them may depend on your play-style.  So check them out and let us know what you think.  [Fan art by Guillaume Bonnet]
