So VidZone doesn't work in the US -- we checked -- but American PSN users will be able to feast on some content that Europeans didn't get hold on, as payback. In particular, PopCap's Heavy Weapon, the release of Bomberman ULTRA and another new PS1 game, Medal of Honor Underground. Of course, there's also the same amount of crazy DLC for Killzone 2, Burnout Paradise, LittleBigPlanet and World At War. PSP fans can also pick up a digital copy of Hot Shots Open Tee 2. What's that you say? It's Friday? Yeah, we've been a bit busy with E3, hence the release of the PSN update post a day late. Plus, it took us forever and a day to type up the ridiculous amount of content that's been dropped, including over twenty videos, three PS1 games, two full PSN games and two demos. Not to mention the usual DLC. Enjoy! Choose your platform to view the corresponding release list: (Note: Continue past the break to view both release lists.)

The original Resident Evil is the highlight of the week for the American PSN store but, as usual, it's joined by a whole host of other content, too. As reported, a Crash Commando demo is now available and the 2000AD LittleBigPlanet DLC packs are also ready to be downloaded. PSP fans have two demos to choose from, in addition to the grandaddy of the Survival Horror genre. Europeans will have to settle for Silent Hill instead but who knows, maybe some of you would prefer that.Choose your platform to view the corresponding release list: (Note: Continue past the break to view both release lists.)

Bumper week of content for European PSN Store fans this week. Two full games are now available, in the form of Cellfactor and Inferno Pool, as well as two demos -- one of which is for Crash Commando, which is due to receive a patch and DLC in the near future. There's also a massive amount of DLC for all your favourite games, as per usual. PSP owners have demos of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and Rock Band Unplugged to enjoy, too. 05.21.2009

There's plenty of content for you to grab from the US store today, including four demos, two PS1 games and the usual lot of DLC. inFamous and the LittleBigPlanet Monsters pack should probably be at the top of your shopping list this week. If you're a PSP fan, you can take advantage of the just-released Monster Hunter Freedom Unite demo, too. It's true, we liked inFamous quite a lot, but you don't have to take our word for it -- you can go ahead and grab the demo off the European PlayStation store right now. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, there are four other demos for you to try out instead. No wonder this update took so long to arrive! There's also a PS1 game in the form of Creatures 3, a full PSP game and, as usual, a boat-load of DLC including the fairly large LittleBigPlanet Monsters pack. Pretty decent update this week. Not only is Bionic Commando Rearmed half price, but Rag Doll Kung Fu is now completely free. There are also some new games in the form of Texas Cheat Em, Zen Pinball and two PS1 titles. Of course, there's also a bunch of DLC and a smattering of trailers and themes. PSP fans can grab the excellent Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice for a slightly inflated price of $23. But at least it's digital. A few new games make their way to the European PSN Store today amid the normal torrent of DLC releases. PopCap finally graces Europe with Bejeweled 2 and Zen Pinball makes its global debut, day and date with the American release. Other than that, there's DLC for PAIN, Street Fighter IV, Sonic Unleashed and ... sadly, not LittleBigPlanet. Guess those Media Molecule folks have to take a break sometime. The store is also lacking any new PSP content for this week. Sorry, handheld fans.[Update] PopCap has confirmed that Bejeweled 2 is only the beginning for the European PSN. Zuma, Heavy Weapon, Peggle and Feeding Frenzy will all be heading to Europe in the coming months. Choose your platform to view the corresponding release list:

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix makes its PSN debut this week in the US, no doubt intending to feed off the free publicity from the new Star Trek movie. Other than that, there's a lot of new DLC for many different titles, as well as three new PS1 games and even a few full PSP games. What is this, Europe? 05.07.2009

It's relatively minor week of releases for the European PSN. The gem of the week is actually a demo of Savage Moon, which came out at the end of January. Other than that it's mostly DLC, including some for Trivial Pursuit, LittleBigPlanet, Wheelman and Tom Clancy's HAWX. PSP owners have a few more games to grab, including the classic Loco Roco and another Fireteam Bravo title. Two big deals appear on the PSN Store in the US this week. Killzone 2 gets its first batch of DLC and the Marvel vs Capcom 2 demo is now available for everyone to enjoy. Yes, even those of you in Europe, if you've got a US account. Other than that it's mostly DLC, including even more Disgaea 3 content. PSP owners have a Patapon 2 demo to try out in preparation for its imminent release. The weekly DLC onslaught continues this week with the anticipated release of Killzone 2's "Steel And Titanium" pack. Cops and Robbers also make their appearance on the streets of Paradise City and Egyptian gods invade LittleBigPlanet. A few more PSP classics have also been released for those who feel that UMDs are on the way out. Plenty of content to choose from today on the European PSN Store. PS1 releases continue with two uninspiring titles, and there's another torrent of DLC to grab for all your favorite games. There are also a couple of PS3 demos to check out and PSP owners have a couple games of their own to pick up. 04.16.2009

Today's PSN update is sadly lacking in full games, but there's plenty of DLC to keep you busy. PixelJunk Eden Encore sees the light of day, along with three packs of Valkyria Chronicles content and all the usual Rock Band, Guitar Hero and LittleBigPlanet downloads. While it's an expensive week for DLC lovers, it's too bad there's no love for PSP owners. It's DLC city on the European PlayStation Store today. Not only has the hotly anticipated expansion for PixelJunk Eden been released (and at less than £2.50, how can you say no?) but Valkyria Chronicles, Magic Ball and LittleBigPlanet all receive new content, too. Those after full games can enjoy OutRun Online Arcade or Need For Speed Most Wanted on PSP. 04.09.2009

Flock and Rag Doll Kung Fu are your new games for this week. Other than that, there's not a whole lot to see. DLC consists of the usual suspects -- Rock Band, Guitar Hero World Tour and LittleBigPlanet -- and that's pretty much it. PSP owners can pick up Super Collapse 3 for ten bucks, or any of a number of ridiculously named themes for the system. Alright SCEE, we forgive you for last week. Today's update is jam-packed with content, including four full PS3 games, a return to form for LittleBigPlanet DLC and the usual truckload of DLC. To mark the second anniversary of the PlayStation Store in the territory, SCEE has also reduced prices for a lot of older games. PSP owners have four full games of their own to choose from too. 04.02.2009

Today's American PSN update is much more interactive than the European content that went live earlier today. There's another (free!) episode of Qore, the Killzone 2 Behind The Bullet demo and swarm-based tower defense title Comet Crash. Plus a standard helping of DLC, including the Patapon costume for LittleBigPlanet, which is mysteriously missing from the EU Store. Bit of a rubbish update today, comparatively. No playable content for PS3 owners, nor DLC for LittleBigPlanet -- weren't those Patapon costumes supposed to drop today? PSP owners at least get a playable demo, but it's one that's been available in the US for a week.
