There are plenty of Star Wars-inspired songs and remixes (such as Meco's disco adaptations), but the legendary space fantasy series is finally getting something official... and you might want to give it a listen. The upcoming Star Wars Headspace will include electronic tunes that are either influenced by or reworks of the movies, most of them from artists you'll know if you're big on digital beats. The whole thing is produced by Rick Rubin, and there are tracks from Bonobo, Claude VonStroke, Flying Lotus, Kaskade and Röyksopp, among others.

  • Blood Sport: Beginner's guide to arena, part I

Want to crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their women? Blood Sport investigates the entirety of all-things arena for gladiators and challengers alike. C. Christian Moore, multiple rank 1 gladiator, examines the latest arena strategy, trends, compositions and more in WoW.com's arena column. Listening Music: Royksopp's Remind Me. We were emailed last week by Kohl, who politely recommended some listening music for Blood Sport this week. I was planning on featuring another kind of chill electronica, but Kohl just happened to recommend Royksopp among Hybrid and Kosheen -- so enjoy the beats, Kohl. If you'd like to contribute listening music to the column, please make your recommendation in the comments below. If you want to reach me on a personal level, you can hit me up at colby <at> wow.com. Last Week: We discussed how to improve our play. We talked about humility, the myth of luck, practice, team hopping, and having fun. These are all important aspects of a winning player's attitude and belief system. However, as a commenter or two mentioned -- last week's article is helpful if you're already into arena, but what if you're just starting out and have never really played arenas seriously before? That article will help you out a lot. Err, it will...kind of. Maybe? Okay, probably not. Sorry for jumping the gun. Advice for how to improve can definitely be beneficial for the beginning arena combatant, but it's not going to help in comparison to an arena start-up guide. This week, we'll nickel and dime arena for fresh blood. We haven't talked about tangibles in the past two weeks. That's gonna change now. Prepare to get your pumps primed. That sounded dirty. Interested? Check out the arena starter guide after the break.

  • EA Sports' fall soundtrack in full, from Alexisonfire to Zap Mama

What kind of crazy, block-bustin' beats are you going to be nodding your head to when playing this fall's EA Sports titles? The publisher wants you to know, in full, well before any of the games launch. Why? Well, we're not entirely sure. One thing that's clearly apparent from the various soundtracks: target markets. We're not exactly left scratching our heads over who wants Röyksopp rolling in the background while playing a rousing game of footie (hint: EUROPEANS) or who wants Alice in Chains pumping in Giants Stadium (hint: UNITED STATESIANS). Either way, head after the break for the whole list, including the tunes in Madden NFL 10, NBA Live 10, NHL 10, and FIFA 10. And then go out and buy a Röyksopp album. You'll thank us.

  • Screen Grabs: Robyn cozies up to robot, Nokia N97 in Röyksopp video

Screen Grabs chronicles the uses (and misuses) of real-world gadgets in today's movies and TV. Send in your sightings (with screen grab!) to screengrabs at engadget dt com. What's that? Robot companions and multiple dancing Robyns in the latest Röyksopp joint? We're there, dude. Oh, it gets better... somewhere in the 1:49 range the gadgetry gets ill when the flaxen-haired songstress whips out a Nokia N97 to text her robotic compatriots about the dance party happening up in her room. Yeah, an N97. It also makes a curtain-call appearance in the 2:48 realm, right before the blingee pregnancy test announces that Robyn is not, in fact, with child. Full, eye-opening video after the break.[Thanks, Derffy]

  • Space Invaders are happy up there in Royksopp's new music vid

You should probably avoid the music video we've embedded after the break. "Happy Up Here," the latest single from Norwegian electronic (and possibly electronic Norwegian) group Röyksopp, concocts an inoffensive, lighthearted and worst of all, catchy, sequence of bleeps and bloops. It's exactly the sort of thing that wafts out of someone's cubicle and ends up infecting every brain in the office, generating impromptu humming and arming those whistling, morning people with yet another way to annoy the rest of us. But it also features cute invaders ... from space! We think that's from a video game.[Thanks, V]
