Funcom's concept artists have been letting their imaginations run wild again. After the last round of concept art was released for Rise of the Godslayer and The Secret World, fans had a good time speculating about what they were looking at, and now it's that time again. Funcom has released Creepy Concept Art 2.0 via Facebook, and fan speculation is even more enthusiastic and varied than it was for the last round. The first piece of concept art is for The Secret World, and features a very small, very angry totem or pendant of some sort (It's tiny - check the size reference figure in the corner). The second new item is from the upcoming Age of Conan expansion Rise of the Godslayer, and garnered nearly as much interest as the other, with thoughts of Wookiees, Bear Shaman, and Picts from commenters. You can take a look for yourself on Facebook, and join us in our thanks to Funcom and their concept artists for the new eye candy!

With Massively heading in the direction of the LA Convention Center already, we thought it might be fun to offer up some likely (and highly unlikely) predictions of what might get talked about next week. In reality, this is sort of a "future of the MMO industry list" as everything on here is more-or-less a current or upcoming trend. The only question is whether any given item will get discussed next week. Each of those nice images is a link, which will take you into our E3 Predictions Gallery. Don't know who Carbine or Red 5 are? Not sure about Copernicus? If you don't understand one of our bingo squares, be sure to dig down and find out what all the fuss is about. We'll be bringing you all the MMO dirt you can stand next week, so hopefully this will tide you over until then. Enjoy!%Gallery-27434%

Perhaps you've heard about the mysterious poem that hides a game announcement. Either someone cracked the code or Funcom decided to spill the beans anyway. Funcom, creators of the upcoming Age of Conan, has announced that it is working on a brand new MMO for the Xbox 360 and PC. Titled, The Secret World, the game takes place in modern times on earth. That's right, no fantasy or sci-fi settings here. The game centers around modern mythology, conspiracy, and mystery. People are already tying the game to the Knights Templar, so this sounds like the kind of game that mystery buffs, conspiracy theorists, and Da Vinci Code fans should find fascinating. If you really want to get deep into The Secret World, you'll have to solve a puzzle at DarkDaysAreComing.com. Correctly solve the puzzle and you'll be treated to some concept art and a timer that has 4 hours to go as of this posting. If you're stuck, we suggest you hit up the game's new forums. We have to say, the concept of The Secret World is very intriguing. We'll keep you posted on its progress.
