Boy, if we didn't know that Crackdown was coming next week, we'd be just about ready to give up on our beloved 360. There is only one game releasing for the Xbox 360 this week ... in the entire world. Yup, this week it's Europe's turn to shine. Before our friends across the Atlantic get all giddy and smarmy, you should know that all you're getting is Fuzion Frenzy 2. Still, if you're starving for some minigame action, you can't do much better than Fuzion Frenzy 2 (of course, you don't have much of a choice).Just one more week, friends. Then, then we get some sweet Crackdown action (there's also a beta on it or something).

Observant fanboys will have noticed that there was no "Shipping this week" posted last week. The reason for that was simple: nothing was released and we were tired of saying that. Lucky for us, there are new releases this week. Yes, that's right, we said releases, as in "more than one." With more than one title releasing this week, we think it's time to whip out a bulleted list: Battlestations: Midway Fuzion Frenzy 2 Man, just look at all those bullets. We're pretty excited about Fuzion Frenzy 2, a game we've covered to death. The 360 needs a good party game, and we're hoping that Fuzion Frenzy fits the bill. Anyone planning on picking one of these up?

Another week gone by, another slim release list for the Xbox 360. Last week we got Lost Planet, and the week before that we got nothing. This week we get one title, NCAA March Madness 07. Sports games aren't for everyone, but it's definitely better than nothing. Also, as the more perceptive readers have probably realized, it is currently not March, so you'll have plenty of time to practice. Anyone plan on picking this up?

After a one week vacation, the world of Xbox 360 releases has returned, and no triumphant return would be complete without gifts. This week's gift isn't some crappy t-shirt hastily purchased at an airport gift shop either. No, this week is a doozy. It's a general policy that we like to have at least three titles to merit a bulleted list, but this week is special. It's the first game of the new year and it's a pretty big game to boot. As such, we present you with the combined North American/European shipping list for the week of January 8.Shipping this week in North America and Europe: Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Also worth noting, Japan will get its first crack at Viva Piñata this week (except it has been renamed Atsumare! Piñata). Let's introduce them. Japan, this is addiction. Addiction, Japan. So, who's picking up Lost Planet?

A new year is upon us, and it looks like the game industry is still suffering from a collective hangover, as there are hardly any new games this week, and none at all for our beloved 360. So, instead of a handy bulleted list, we present you with this clip from UHF, Weird Al Yankovic's best (and only) film. We hope you enjoy it. Come to think of it, maybe they should make a UHF game. Hell, since we have no real games to buy this week, let's come up with some fake ones that we'd like to see. Any ideas? Make sure you come up with some achievements, too.

So, we looked at this week's release list, and we were struck with an eerie feeling that we'd seen it before. We scanned the list over and over again-- it didn't take long, because there was only one game. Had we seen this before? In another life, maybe? No, wait, it's just last week's game again. It looks like the tremendous development cycle for Rapala Tournament Fishing! pushed the game back another week. We know that these delays can be annoying, but we're sure the developers didn't want to release some crappy fishing game that would have to be patched later. No, they wanted to deliver a solid product and we commend them for that. Before you all run out to buy Rapala Tournament Fishing!, we have a new addition to our shipping feature: European releases! We wish we could give you an exciting bulleted list, but you're only getting one game as well: Star Trek: Legacy.Let's hope next week is a little more interesting.

The last few weeks for 360 releases have been pretty thin. In fact, last week's only release, Star Trek: Legacy was actually pushed back to this week. If Star Trek doesn't do it for you, then you have only one other game to look forward to this week: Rapala Tournament Fishing! No, we're not super excited for the fishing game, the title actually has an exclamation point in it. So, if you're a Trekkie that loves fishing(!), this is a very big week for you. If by some slim chance you are not a Trekkie that loves fishing, then you should probably just keep playing Gears.

It's another very, very slim week for the Xbox 360. It is yet again so slim that the release is unworthy of a bulleted list. That's right, I said release, as in one. The only game shipping this week is Star Trek: Legacy. I'll go ahead and let it slip that I'm a Trek fan, but it remains to be seen whether this game is any good or not. Many will be quick to claim that Legacy is a Bethesda title, so it must be good. After all, they made Oblivion, right? It should be noted, however, that Bethesda is only publishing the title, while its actual development is being handled by Mad Doc, a company most noted for PC real time strategy games. But hey, it has the voices of every captain in Star Trek history, and that's got to be worth something. Anybody out there planning on beaming this up?

Thanksgiving is over, but it looks like 360 publishers are still suffering from tryptophane sleepiness (or Turkinosis, as a friend of mine calls it) because there are only two Xbox 360 games shipping this week. The list is so short, that we can't even muster the strength to give this week a bulleted list. You'll just have to trust us when we say that Pimp My Ride and World Championship Poker: All In are both releasing this week. Yeah, the list is short and unsatisfying, but we've had so many games to play lately, maybe it's a good thing. Turkey sandwich, anyone?[Via Joystiq]

Another week, at least one more major title for Xbox 360. This week it's Rainbow Six Vegas, the long awaited shooter from the Tom Clancy loving folks at Ubisoft. Of course, there are arguably two big games this week, depending on your feelings towards a certain Man of Steel. We're a little confused about College Hoops 2K7, considering there was downloadable content available for it two weeks ago. Weird. Finally, we have Cabela's African Safari. Does anyone out there play these hunting games? We're curious if they're actually better than their Xbox 1 predecessors. Are they any fun, or is it just for the Gamerscore? The 360 holiday assault continues this week with several long awaited games. Chief among these -- and certainly not for its gameplay merits -- may be Dead or Alive Xtreme 2. We've covered its excessive bounciness before -- the infamous trailer generated many, many comments. Will the game succeed despite its shallow nature and godawful looking hair? Only time will tell.Other games of note this week include Sonic the Hedgehog and WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2007. Also worth mentioning, Bionicle Heroes is made by Traveller's Tales, the folks behind the Lego Star Wars series. Can Bionicle Heroes live up to its cousin's success?Shipping this week: - Bionicle Heroes - Blitz: The League - Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 - Eragon - History Channel: Civil War - Pimp My Ride - Sonic the Hedgehog - World Championship Poker: All In - WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2007So, who's getting what?

Let's see . . . games shipping this week . . . let's have a look. Hmmmm, we've got World Championship Poker: All In. Not bad, not bad. Let's see what else, Viva Piñata, ooh that's a pretty big one. And, oh, there's Call of Duty 3 and Project 8, those are huge games, too. We've got History Channel Civil War and Blitz: the League, those might be pretty good. Anything else? Let's see . . . nope. No, that's it, nothing else. Oh wait, there's another one here at the bottom. Um . . . Gears of . . . what is it, War? Is that it? Is that a game about Richard Gere? If it is, they spelled his name wrong.
