What we're watching: Don't check your calendars, yes, it is Friday and yes, that is Monday Night Football tonight on ESPN. We're not so sure how this move from ABC is going to go when they can't even get the day right, but we'll check out the Steelers and the Eagles anyway. An oldie but goodie episode of Rides featuring Rod Millen and Chip Foose teaming up to customize a Lexus is also on tonight, along with Saving Private Ryan on Cinemax and a late night thriller in Night of the Living Dead. Our traditional high definition listings continue below.

High definition programming is grow rapidly; It has almost doubled in the last year. Still there are shows and channels that we wish were available in HD. Like Sci-Fi. They have great original shows like Battlestar Galactica and all those Stargate series. Plus, that new Ghosthunters show would be great in high-def. Oh and then there is F/X. Who wouldn't want to see The Shield and Rescue Me in HD? Oh and don't forget about Nip/Tuck. It is ashame that these are some of the best shows on TV and they aren't in HD. What shows/channels would you like to see in HD?

Looking forward to E3? This year's E3 is going to be one to remember, but the sheer amount of news coming out of the show extends beyond the world of WoW. Courtesy of the Joystiq E3 team, we bring you one source for all your information: http://e3-2006.joystiq.comKeep your eyes glued to that page -- as well as your favourite World of Warcraft blog, WoW Insider, of course! -- to stay on top of the manic mayhem that is the Electronic Enterainment Expo 2006.

What we're watching: Prison Break and 24 are on and in action tonight, notable because they might finally break out of prison (how can  a show called Prison Break not actually have a break out yet? That would be as though they called Lost "Found") and on 24 the President may shoot down a jet just to kill Jack Bauer (impossible). On TNT we have second round action kicking off between the Clippers/Suns and Nets/Heat so you know what you're getting there. The X-factor tonight is street magician/stuntman/demonically possessed David Blaine's attempt to break the world record for holding his breath underwater on ABC. We'll go out on a limb and say there's some sort of trick to it. Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

  • Widget Watch: HBO Widget

I haven't been this impressed with a widget's capabilities in a long time. The HBO widget is highly functional and eye candy-infused, allowing you not only to check the program guides for both HBO and Cinemax channels, but you can browse and view their 'large collection' of teasers right inside the widget. Top that all off with a really slick minimizing ability to get all this intensive content out of your way when you'd rather save the cycles, and I think I've found the latest widget to receive a 'click of my mouse™.'The widget is, of course, free and available from HBO's site.[via Daring Fireball]

What we're watching: Heat vs. Pistons of course, the premiere Eastern conference rivalry plays out once again as time ticks down towards the playoffs. The Heat are shorthanded with Jason Williams and James Posey injured, so Dwyane Wade and Shaq will have to pick up the slack at 8 p.m. on TNT. Also, the game is at Miami, so crowd watching in high definition is highly recommended.Elsewhere, NBC has committed the terrible sin of replacing The Office with Teachers at 9:30 p.m. so don't be fooled. Instead, if you didn't get enough Debra Messing during Will & Grace, switch over to HBO and check out The Wedding Date. Our traditional high-def listings continue below.
