Recently, I took a look through my Steam library and realized that I've spent a lot of time playing games. From old standbys like Civilization to more recent titles like Kerbal Space Program, there's hundreds hours of my life sunk into some of these titles. Let's not even get started on colleagues and friends who've played thousands of hours of WoW and Dark Souls. Which games have you found yourself obsessed with and how many hours of your life have you devoted to them? Head over to the Engadget forums to share your top games or post about them below.

Last month, Netflix released the third season of House of Cards to the masses. All 13 episodes of the show were available at once, letting viewers binge-watch the entire season in one sitting should they desire. In fact, most of Netflix's original content is released this way and they aren't the only creator of online streaming content that does this. Has this changed the way you watch television or talk about it with others? Do you find yourself binge-watching more often or are you able to exhibit self-control? Despite a number of exciting (and novel) announcements related to battery technology, the sad fact is that our smartphones still need to be frequently charged. One thing that hasn't helped in prolonging the lives of our devices is a trend toward ever thinner phones. In some cases, it seems like things are getting too thin. What if we could get some extra battery life in exchange for a few extra millimeters of padding? Would you do it? Head over to the Engadget forums and let us know what you think! It's no secret that virtual reality seems to be all the rage at this year's Sundance Film Festival. With a number of consumer oriented VR headsets on the horizon, filmmakers are clearly excited about this technology and experimenting with ways to take advantage of it. If there's one thing we know about Hollywood, it's its obsession with rebooting some of our most cherished movies. Given the opportunity, what classic and beloved movies would you love to see in VR?

Microsoft showed off a number of new features from its upcoming Windows 10 yesterday. It brings support for things like universal apps, a new and improved web browser, potentially free upgrades, cross-platform gaming and more. One of the more interesting announcements was that Cortana, a voice-controlled virtual assistant similar to Apple's Siri and Google Now, would be available on your desktop. Many of us spend our days in office environments, where it's not convenient to talk to our computers (besides, I have other issues with virtual assistants as well). Is this something you'll find useful on your computer? Head over to the Engadget forums and let us know what you think.

Walking through the halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, one thing becomes abundantly clear. Curved displays are apparently all the rage. They're everywhere and include everything from Ultra-HDTVs, monitors and even smartphones. Much like 3D televisions of the past, it seems like every hardware manufacturer got together and said, "This is exactly what consumers need!" The thing is, I've yet to meet anyone who has one. Are they the real deal? Head over to the Engadget forums and share your thoughts!

That sad, broken handset is what one friend had to use while waiting for his new one to arrive. We know that you too, have felt his pain and are bound to have some similar photos floating around. Whether your phone was dropped into a pool of hydrofluoric acid or ran afoul of a mantis shrimp, we want to see the evidence. Show us in the forums or tweet it out with a #brokenphone hashtag, and let's enjoy a bit of cellphone shadenfreude together.

Uber is not having a good week. Between surreptitiously tracking journalists' trips inside 'God View' and an executive implying the company should dig up dirt on reporters critical of the service, the company has been on a pretty bumpy road. However, they're still one of the most popular ride sharing services. Does the company's seemingly callous disregard for customer privacy change whether you still use its app? You can find NFC technology in many of the gadgets released in the last few years, but it seems like it never gained much traction in our common lexicon. Sure, there's Google Wallet and using it to easily pair with things (like your camera), but you didn't really see people using it everyday. With Apple Pay recently arriving in consumers' hands, more people are starting to becoming aware of this technology. Did you just start using it or have you been an early adopter all along? What are some cool things that you've done with it? Share your stories and impressions over in the Engadget forums.
