    Welcome to Joystiq Weekly, a "too long; didn't read" of each week's biggest stories, reviews and original content. Each category's top story is introduced with a reactionary gif, because moving pictures aren't just for The Daily Prophet. It seems like there are two brands of Trials riders - those who try the series and bail, seeing it for the inevitable, rage-induced heart attack it is, and those that persevere and conquer every track. We're not sure where we fit just yet - some of Trials Fusion's stages give us flashbacks to Super Meat Boy, and our patience is finite. Still, the triumph in each small victory reminds us that we can get the best of gravity, that we can guide motorbikes over ridiculous terrain with the best of them ... until we reach the next stage and the cycle of emotions renews. We've got plenty of resources for anyone that needs a sanity break from Fusion, though!   • Square Enix shuts down its India studio after one year, no games

    Square Enix has shut down its operations in Mumbai, India, former Square Enix India Vice President Atul Vibhandik confirmed to MCV. He didn't offer additional comments. Square Enix India was established in 2013 and employed six people, all of whom have been laid off. The studio didn't produce any games. Square Enix President Yosuke Matsuda said on April 1 that the company would focus less on global markets and re-shift to its roots in JRPGs. Matsuda said at the time, "Regardless of whether they're for smartphone or console, there's a difficult element to developing global titles, so we'll be making them without focusing too much on the 'global' aspect. For example, in the past, when we developed console games with a worldwide premise, we lost our focus, and not only did they end up being games that weren't for the Japanese, but they ended up being incomplete titles that weren't even fit for a global audience."
