One Shots: Reporting in
One of the many fun things about getting to write up One Shots is seeing images from myriad gamers who are passionate about their particular games of choice. It's like getting postcards from all over the MMOGsphere -- which I am then able to share with you! Another nice thing is seeing someone start contributing repeatedly. It's interesting to see characters progress as they travel (and level). Such is the case with today's RIFT screenshot from Tizmah. The last time he checked in with us, he'd wandered into Gloamwood. Today -- well, we'll let him explain: "Hey, it's Tizmah. This was taken outside Lantern Hook. I didn't notice how big this rocky town was until I was out questing; when I turned around, I was like O_O." It's easy to become a regular One Shots contributor, but you have to start by sending in a first screenshot! Email your image in to us here at oneshots@massively.com along with your name, the name of the game we're seeing in the picture, and a note telling us what's going on. You can make your note as long or as short as you'd like, too! Please make sure your image is at least 1024px wide and has no visible UI. Not all is bright and sunny in the lands of Telara. Never mind the rifts popping up all over the place -- there are corners of the world in RIFT that are simply naturally eerie and foreboding -- especially when you realize this area is populated with giant spiders, vampire bats, and other monsters. Today's spooky screenshot comes to us from Massively reader Tizmah, who writes in to tell us of his recent adventures: "Hey, this is Tizmah. My Dwarf gal Septerra was enjoying the gloomy view of a town in the distance in Gloamwood -- all right, through her peripheral vision -- but I enjoyed it!"
