We've featured Swathe Productions before now. Their previous movie, Murder on the Booty Bay Express was a lot of fun; it had both a bit of literary weight, some great WoW flavor, and a whole lot of spirit. The mother and son team have recently released a new movie, True Guts. Inspired by the John Wayne classic, True Grit, this is the tale of a lone game master who wanders the countryside of Azeroth in a never-ending quest to stop gankers, bots, and ninja looters. Like Murder on the Booty Bay Express, this video is a nice little homage to the original. I really like what Swathe Productions is doing; not only is it awesome to experience creativity as a family, I think machinima is a nice way to grow into storytelling. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! Have suggestions for machinima we ought to feature? Toss us an email at moviewatch@wowinsider.com.

The True Grit Blu-ray / DVD combo pack arrives on store shelves tomorrow, but today you can peek this exclusive clip from the special features focusing on Josh Brolin's performance as the villain of the movie. There's a press release with details on the other special features after the break, while this one is embedded in standard def here all of them are in HD on the disc. We missed True Grit in theaters, but judging from the critical acclaim this flick received, The Dude and Good Will Hunting make quite the posse.

Sorry film diehards, another ally has bitten the dust -- and this one's a biggie. After years of dismissing digital cameras over quality concerns, Roger Deakins, the cinematographer behind The Shawshank Redemption, Revolutionary Road, and pretty much every Coen Brothers movie, has made the jump to digital. The-nine time Oscar nominee confessed to The Hollywood Reporter that he shot the forthcoming sci-fi thriller Now using an Arri Alexa digital camera and is leaning toward using one for his next film, a Sam Mendes-directed James Bond flick. I'm sure Q would approve -- not to mention James Cameron and Peter Jackson, assuming they can put down their respective RED EPIC cameras for long enough. [Image Credit: Sony]
