Lagspikefilm is back with another painfully real parody machinima. Last time, he spoofed MTV Cribs, but this time, he's taken on a much tougher topic -- the workplace. World of Workcraft is about a group of dragon slayers that log in to an office simulation game in their spare time.Workcraft serves as proof that not all World of Warcraft videos need to be about PvP, PvE, etc. We hope that there's a sequel in the works, because we couldn't stop laughing at this brilliant video![Thanks, Tumnus!]If you have machinima or movie suggestions from any MMO, please send them to machinima AT massively DOT com, along with any information you might have about them.

When a group of dragon slayers spend all day killing and saving villages, how could they possibly unwind? They log in to World of Workcraft, of course. Whether the assignment is making sales calls, reading reports, or dealing with the epic boss, these guys are prepared, but will the new guy fail them?Lagspikefilm, creator of the hilarious Thrall's Crib parody, has made another film that is both funny and genius at the same time. However, the film has multiple branding from WeGame, is not available on any other site, and Oxhorn voice acted in it. It looks like Oxhorn may not be the only one on the WeGame payroll.[Thanks, Tumnus!]If you have any suggestions for WoW Moviewatch, you can mail them to us at machinima AT wowinsider DOT com.Previously on Moviewatch ...

Oxhorn is back with another quality movie, Associate Professor Evil Kills All Ninja Looters. This machinima comes in at a whopping 18 minutes, with four of that spent on an amusing skit during the credits. The story centers around APE and his tenure meeting. When the unexpected happens, he sets off on a mission to regain his power. In addition to the skit, there is a song and dance number, "Tank Tank Heal Tank," but no complete script release for the movie yet. For music, videos, and lyrics to the machinima, be sure to check out his blog.If you have any suggestions for WoW Moviewatch, you can mail them to us at machinima AT wowinsider DOT com.Previously on Moviewatch ...

Oxhorn is back with another wonderful machinima, An Oxhorn Brand Medley. He combined quotes and songs from his other popular works with a tune whipped up by Nathan Allen Pinard to set the tone for his latest work. In typical Oxhorn fashion, you can find the script, music, and other tidbits about the movie on his website. A wise man once said, "LOLOMGWTGDAIRYQUEEN LOLOMGBBTHEQ." We couldn't agree more! As you sing along to the chorus, try to see how many scenes and characters you can recognize. This blogger only has eyes for Hat, the singing turtle, though. If you have machinima or movie suggestions from any MMO, please send them to machinima AT massively DOT com, along with any information you might have about them.

In the words of the immortal Mort, "LOLOMGWTGDAIRYQUEEN LOLOMGBBTHEQ." What exactly does that mean? We're still trying to figure that out, but in the meantime, Oxhorn has made An Oxhorn Brand Medley for us to watch! As always, you can find the script, music, and other tidbits about the movie on his website.Oxhorn combined lyrics and quotes from his previous machinima projects in a song orchestrated by Nathan Allen Pinard. My future husband, Hat, even makes an appearance! It's been a couple of months since we last blogged about Chronicle of the Annoying Quest, but they've released another two episodes since then. Bakasavant Productions is practically rivaling Shepiwot in episode frequency! Admittedly, their machinimas are more effects-intensive than the How to Paladin series, though. In Episode 23, the Alliance prepare to fight the big, bad Horde in Warsong Gulch, but hit a snag in their plans. Meanwhile, the Horde encounter trouble in the Barrens. What will happen to the (Alliance) Scooby Gang? Tune in around the third week of May to find out![Via Warcraftmovies.com]If you have any suggestions for WoW Moviewatch, you can mail them to us at machinima AT wowinsider DOT com.Previously on Moviewatch ...

Fans of the anime series, Cowboy Bebop, may be interested in today's Cinemassively. It comes from Sku110ne over at WeGame, although we do believe it's straight from the archives. You know -- back when people actually played Star Wars Galaxies.Sku110ne attempted to recreate the intro to the series in SWG. This blogger knows that it's not easy to create machinima in certain MMOs, so he gets major credit for even attempting it. Throughout the remake, he shows shots of the actual intro. We assume that's because he wants to show you how close he is to the real thing. Either way, pull up a chair and enjoy this throwback to 2003!

I chose some lighter fare for today while you get your patch 2.4 fix on. Garritt Windspire, of Windspire Entertainment, made the cutest music video in World of Warcraft. Being a short one myself (but not that short!), I find gnomes absolutely adorable. Baby It's Cold Outside is no Baron Soosdon production, but for what it is, it works well. While I liked the video, there were some obvious flaws with it. The aspect ratio seems wonky, and the page turns are pretty cheesy. However, I thought that the surprise in the middle broke the music video up nicely. What's your favorite WoW music video?Previously on Moviewatch ...

It looks like Oxhorn's WeGame gig is paying off for fans. After nine months, he has released the sequel to Orcs in SPACE! Since Stage6 is gone and Oxhorn is exclusive with WeGame, the best extra we can link to is the script.Orcs in SPACE! 2 is about two orcs, Dr. Strange Orc and Dink, in ... (You guessed it!) space! They trade witty banter back and forth, and put on a song and dance. Along the way, a strange moon joins in on the action. While this is definitely not my favorite Oxhorn machinima, I enjoyed the rap in the end.Previously on Moviewatch ...

  • GDC08: Xfire's video capture beta

We missed this story last month, but our intrepid on-the-ground crew at GDC has found it out for us: Xfire, the PC chat client/game launcher/social networking tool, has introduced a beta video capture module into their application. Taking a cue from sites and services like WeGame, they are using their own video codec (xfcodec, which unfortunately won't work with a few video applications yet), and letting you record video on the fly during any Xfire-enabled game. We're told that a future version will enable you to upload your videos directly to your Xfire profile. As you can see above, despite YouTube's horrible compression, the video itself doesn't look too bad. And James Woodcock, who took this video, says that while the audio still has a few issues, the video quality before compression is "exceptional." Not everybody is thrilled -- the client can sometimes cause lag and drop frames -- but Xfire says they want to hear about any issues you have. Anyone tried it yet?

In the fourth Inventing Swear Words, we find Mort, the undead ubar-l33t, preparing to marry his prize heifer, Lacy. Will he be able to resist temptation when it comes along? Will Hat be able to sing a tune without insulting Mort's bride? You'll just have to tune in to find out!I am pleased to report that my future husband, Hat the singing turtle, has quite a bit of face time in Oxhorn's latest machinima. He manages to sing three songs in Inventing Swear Words 4! I'd have to say that my favorite would be, "You are so beautiful ... to Mort." If you're as obsessed with Hat as I am, and he really should get a restraining order against me, then join his WeGame Official Hat Fan Club! Oxhorn was kind enough to render out all the Hat moments from his movies, so it's all Hat, all the time.

Oxhorn must be all settled into his shiny new machinimator gig at WeGame. He just released the fourth movie in his Inventing Swear Words series! As always, you can read the script if you enjoyed the film.In this latest episode, Inventing Swear Words 4, Mortuus, the uber-l33t undead pwner dude, is all set to marry Lacy, the cow/woman hybrid. This machinima is full of surprises, so I don't want to spoil it for you. However, check out more singing by my future husband (He doesn't know it yet.), Hat!Previously on Moviewatch ...

Having been a full-time machinimator in Second Life for about 1.5 years now, I can definitely appreciate the plight of the WoW machinimator. They produce work that is easily 10 times the quality of what comes out of SL, yet have a hard time making any money off of it. However, it looks like Oxhorn has found a way.Oxhorn has landed a gig with WeGame, a video sharing site with a twist. WeGame not only allows you to upload your machinima, it also provides you with a free desktop client for filming. If you can't afford to pay for Fraps or any of the other options, WeGame is your best bet.Read on for more about Oxhorn's new job and WeGame ...

Egad Pit has a message to all the ladies of WoW out there. He's on to you! Gold Farmer is a parody of Gold Digger, by Kanye West. This machinima short is really rough around the edges, and Egad is no rapper, but it's a funny look at something that we can all relate to.The video is about a guy that runs into a girl who shows up at opportune moments when raiding and always walks away with blue items. His friends catch on quick to the girl's scam, but this poor guy didn't know what hit him until it was too late. Roll need girl. Go 'head, roll need!Previously on Moviewatch...

Dimitrio Lewis creates a haunting tale of love and loss, in Moonlit Sonata. Combining stunning visuals and powerful transitions, he introduces us to a woman playing away her pain on the piano. While I'm not clear as to whether she is mourning the death of a loved one, or she is playing her own death march, it is beautiful nonetheless. If you enjoyed the film, you can also download the high resolution version. While the movie is lovely, I have to complain about the intro, claiming he is "Second Life's Machinima Studio." It would have been just fine if he left off the possession, but it makes him seem like the only Machinimator out there. There are plenty, and you can be sure that the good ones will be featured here on Cinemassively![Thanks, Geuis!]

Selserene, the machinimator responsible for the fifth place entry in the Warcraftmovies Christmas Spirit Contest, has released a trailer for her upcoming machinima, In for a Penny. IFAP is a film noir that will be broken into two parts, consisting of the prologue, and the movie itself. However, you can enjoy her teaser trailer, which does not reflect on the entire movie, now! Set in black and white, a sexy blood elf lady is watched by a gnome playing a piano. While it's raining outside, she decides to get a little freaky in the bedroom. As a side note, while working on this scene, Selserene discovered that blood elf males are about as "equipped" as a Ken doll!Previously on Moviewatch...

Having to find quality Machinima for two blog posts daily can be torture. Most people won't spring for a paid copy of Fraps or gamecam, so I'm stuck looking at watermarks. That's almost an instant disqualification for consideration.Enter WeGame, which would be just like any other video sharing site if it didn't have one major difference. They offer free, easy to use recording software to their users. As a matter of fact, it's so simple that I was able to record six quick videos, review them, and choose one to upload within 30 minutes of downloading the program. I'm getting ahead of myself, though.Read on after the jump to find out more about WeGame ...
