Ruith of Hellfire-EU writes, "I was just drying out by the fire when when my pet walked over and sort of admired the form. Think that's what he wants to be when he grows older." Since I'm currently petsitting for what began as a small black cat and evolved into a violent, hissing TV cabinet, I keep expecting those two to go for each other's throats. Maybe the druid cats are more evolved than my own.Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? Hey, I didn't realize that they'd added in a Hangover Demon boss for Brewfest this year! That explains a lot about my current headache. Anyway, Valafar of <Hellfire Club> on Exodar writes, "After a fun-filled solo mission to take down the Blackhand in Blackrock Spire, I unfortunately ate some of the floral life that had been sprouting in the cracks of the molten rock walls, and when I came to, let's just say, I wasn't quite the same."Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? Running old dungeons can be depressing. When you think about how many hours you spent wiping and slaving over content that you can now solo while alt-tabbing to read about Jon and Kate on TMZ, it feels somewhat anticlimatic. Killerbees of <Ambient> on Silvermoon stares forlornly at the remains of the formerly difficult abomination gauntlet before Baron Rivendare. Tauren Ferith doesn't generally envy the Alliance races, but he couldn't help feeling a pang of jealousy when the gnomes built the Deeprun Tram. Ever since Ferith read The Boxcar Children, he's harbored a burning desire to ride the rails, a desire that can't be satisfied by airships, fishing trawlers, and teleportation orbs. With the introduction of Ulduar, Ferith was finally able to fulfill his fantasy. Next on Ferith's list: a trip to the Crossroads at midnight to sell his soul to Kil'jaeden.Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? Temporarily nude Krekrik (usually known as Loopjongen of Earthen Ring-EU) writes in about his experience at Gutrot the naked troll's level 80 party. "Here be da last survivin' warriors of da Gutrot army, mon. After da glorious hero Gutrot achieved da status of da mightiest naked troll of Azeroth, he gathered da masses to create da new naked troll empire in dem rat-infested Alliance cities. Thousands of naked warriors, marchin', slayin' dem Alliance sissies along da way. Da voodoo was too strong for dem to be resistin' us, and while many fell, a handful of da bravest warriors made it into da tram station. Gatherin' our strength, we travelled to da underground city of Ironforge, where da filthy dwarves had placed their secret weapon. Many of us fell again to da hands of dat monstrous gnome Haggle. But dem spirits be strong with us mon, and he be slain by our bare hands." Once again, It's time for the Harvest Festival, where the Alliance and the Horde make long treks to the shrines of their revered but deeply flawed heroes, Uther Lightbringer and Grom Hellscream. After fighting their way through demons and Scourge, the rank and file lay tributes at the monuments, and return to their capital city to receive the grand reward of ... a book? A book of really bad poetry? And a food-summoning horn? Pathetic. Here, how about I save some silver, stay here in Ironforge, and just get a drunken dwarf to recite some free verse at me? 2v2? 5v5? 40v40? Minifig of <Darkness Beyond Twilight> on Draka doesn't like those odds. He'd rather just parachute into the Horde base in the Isle of Conquest and use his Death Knight mojo to bring down the fortress from the inside. "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here" is so overused. Your hip and with-it modern troll gods prefer to extend a friendly word of caution to any would-be adventurers by leaving skeletal remains suspended in mid-air above their shrines. This fairly obvious warning doesn't seem to be scaring off Plavalaguna of <Light Up the Darkness> on Executus. The painting? Oh, yes, the painting. Well, I've always wanted to redecorate the old houseboat, and after I successfully sued Disney for copyright infringement when the second Pirates of the Caribbean movie came out, I finally had enough gold to do it. So I commissioned this from some local Kalu'ak artists. I think the mangled flesh sets the perfect romantic atmosphere. More wine, my dear? Are you leaving already? David sent in this submission with a note: "I'm a creative writing major, so naturally, I wanted to write something appealing, engrossing, and overall epic to describe this sweet little shot I snapped during a timed CoS recently. I sat for around 45 minutes staring at my screen, slack-jawed and vacant, before I realized that it wasn't important, and that this shot, by itself, is more than epic. It almost kind of seems like words might actually ruin it. You know like ... these ones. Crap." But none of the normal women fill his lonely heart, until he meets the beautiful and strong-willed Freya. He tries his hardest to win this tree-hugger over with a lovely rose." We received a lot of submissions from various Pirate's Day celebrations yesterday, but Richard's picture was by far the most ... glittery. He didn't provide much information, but this appears to be an Alliance party at the pirate ships down south of Booty Bay. You know, the area where you get repeatedly killed by respawns, running pirates, and magical teleporting buccaneers who spot you through the walls of ships. Yes, this is King Jokkum from Storm Peaks, dragged unceremoniously from his icy home to the mage trainers in Stormwind. And don't say Photoshop, because it's been done before. How did this even happen? Has someone decided that the quickest way to get to Exalted with Sons of Hodir is to hold their king hostage in exchange for reputation? Erik writes that while trying to solo The Plume of Alystros and "getting his face ripped to shreds from his futile attempt", he happened to glance over at Ysera's napping area. Usually, the glade is full of a giant translucent dragon, but since Erik was dead, he was able to snap a clear screenshot of the giant statue that serves as the Dreamer's perch. It looks like a lot of people have noticed the statue, but no one is quite sure who or what it is. I vote for a bald-headed Brock Samson. Razer's got a knack for cranking out the unusual, and from the First Edition Boomslang, the outfit has also had a thing for developing gaming mice that demanded respect. The recently announced Naga (which is now shipping out to customers, by the way) is one of the most bizarre mice yet, boasting no fewer than 12 buttons on the left side and a promise of making your MMO gaming a more enjoyable experience. Alongside the wired USB critter, Razer also introduced a patently gigantic gaming surface, the $49.99 Mesasoma. We were able to spend some time with each of these peripherals, so hop on down to the gallery for a closer look and on past the break for a few impressions. %Gallery-73385%
