"I think I may have answered the age-old question of how naga wear pants when I found this guy wearing my transmog set today," writes submitter Razelka of Spectacular Death on Llane (US-A). "He was a little ... unwilling to show it off at first, but a few threatening minion corpses later and he agreed to this photo with me, his new 'friend'. Who do you think wears it better?" "Should I ask why Caer Darrow (AKA Scholomance) - y'know, the big scary haunted evil castle with the big evil skulls on its banner - has that bright cheery wreath right in the middle of the big scary evil skull imagery?" writes submitter Arugadh of The Brotherhood of Iron on Wyrmrest Accord (US-A). "And to really take it over the top, right behind the wreath is a cage hanging from the archway ... a cage that has a moldering, rotting skeleton in it. Yeah. Talk about conflicting symbolism, Blizz." Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. We strongly prefer full-sized pictures with no UI or names showing. "To do this, I, err ... 'borrowed' some tanking gear from a friendly paladin and got some practice. I brought my void lord in case things go south. Let's hope I'm good enough for HC Garrosh. if not, I have those souls from my healing days to keep me alive." Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. As much as I love the goblin starting area, I never really bought the story of how they came to join the Horde. Such a crafty, cunning race of people, and they decide their allegiance by joining up with the first group they run into? You'd expect them to at least make the Alliance and the Horde bid for their services. They might have considered it for a while. Submitter Malveragene of Windrunner (US-H) was questing in Icecrown when he saw that the Alliance gunship, from the right angle, strongly resembled a goblin. I guess Garrosh pays better. "My group was helping Lilian cleanse Scholomance from its corruption, but it seems both Lilian and my group underestimated Gandling's power," writes submitter Faranth of Bizarre Adventures on Azralon (US-H). "He called a bunch of henchmen and together they vanquished Lilian. We though she would rise up again, fight the necromancer, but she did not. All hope of breaking his impenetrable bone shield was lost. There was nothing we could do against his magic without Lilian's help. Soon we fell to the same fate of many careless adventures who've been there before." Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. This picture of Ashran, taken by beta tester Nganga of Pact of War on Silver Hand (US-H), shows the prettiest area that anyone's ever viciously complained about being forced to spend time in. I'm not sure if this is from the PvP area or one of the faction cities, considering that all I've been able to do in the beta is go through the Dark Portal and get disconnected on the other side. But wherever it is, I'm looking forward to hanging out there. Might want to watch out for that big flower on the left, though -- that thing looks metallic and pointy. "Once again, Spectacular Death (A-Llane) is providing an answer to a question you didn't know you had," writes guild leader Gimmlette. "Rednekwichdr wondered just how many people can spin on a fire pole at one time. We were all too happy to answer that. We got a dozen going at once. People discovered that they would get kicked off the pole before the seconds were up to get the full buff so perhaps a dozen is the limit. This probably requires more study. We did have several who needed pole dancing lessons. We shied them away from Ollivor, who offered his own take on pole dancing. Screenshot is not included, because we know this is a family magazine and you won't print that photo. Any dizziness after pole dancing is NOT the result of imbibing from the Brewfest keg." I knew that it takes skill to play a raiding priest, but I never thought I'd see something like this. Submitter Steve has sent in a screenshot of a successful 25-man Throne of Thunder raid, made up entirely of priests. When they cleared it, after what I assume was a truly ridiculous number of wipes, they dropped Angelic Feathers over Lei Shen's corpse to celebrate their victory. But when the wall came down, Fedjeen went berserk. He ran all over Azeroth and then Draenor, getting into everything just like a curious puppy. But Fedjeen hasn't quite figured out how some parts of life work yet. He was enchanted with the Brazier of Dancing Flames from the first moment he saw her, and invited her on a picnic. Instead, he stood up and toed the saddle, too lazy to dismount when I landed to help clear the Alliance from the base site." I think we've all had a boss like that, guys? "With the news that you can register for the cosplay part of Blizzcon, a couple members of Spectacular Death (A-Llane) present this costume for consideration," writes guild leader Gimmlette. "Minaithelan and I were working through Sunwell in preparation for an upcoming guild event. While in the demon area of Sunwell, one of the demons got off a fear and I found myself stuck in a cart. Stuck as in couldn't get out. We realize that Blizzard has rules about being able to see and the size of a costume, but we dare someone to, instead of creating an orc costume, show up as a box or a cart. (I think someone did come as the heart box from 'Love Is In the Air.') I wound up having to hearth to get out of the cart. My guild was sooooo sympathetic. 'Only you, Gimm, only you.'" The gathered masses on the Timeless Isle were restless. All the rares had been killed, the chests had been looted, and the weird pirate ship had been summoned and destroyed. All that remained was Huolon. But he wouldn't show himself. After an hour of waiting, the mob decided that they needed a sacrifice. Straws were drawn. One tauren came up short. And then the other mammoths devoured the victim. Simple, but bleak. I prefer my method of Huolon-finding, which involves running around the Isle skinning other people's kills until someone writes "Huolon's up" in general chat. "For sure you'll get a lot of these, but the guild said I had to send this one to you because you wouldn't have one from Spectacular Death on Llane (US-A)," writes guild leader Gimmlette. "Tonight's event was to kill the Mists of Pandaria world bosses and we started with Galleon. We had 24 people in the raid, including the two druids who were levels 50 and 46. (Yes, they died; a lot, frequently, over and over, but that is the guild name.) I saw the video touting the Warforged Nightmare before logging in and knew I had to have this mount. The fact that everyone in the raid could get a temporary one was a huge bonus. I know at least three people were going to get the mount after having the chance to ride into battle on it. When I was a kid, I played on a softball team. They had to take everyone who came, and since I was pretty terrible at every form of athletics, they put me at catcher. I think I had literally one hit the entire season. Anyway, our home field was near a large pond, that contained the usual variety of Wisconsin pond creatures. One day they must have sensed a change in the weather, because right in the middle of the seventh inning, the frogs attacked. Tiny little frogs, appearing out of nowhere, blanketing the field. My friend Sara and I speculated that they were falling from the sky. Since we were little kids, we cried when we had to run the bases and squashed the tiny frogs. I think they eventually just called the game because of that, although they claimed it was because of an approaching thunderstorm. We lost something like 7-1 anyway. Why am I bringing this up? Oh, no reason. (Thanks to submitter Ruuzulu of Hallowed on Sargeras [US-A] for the screenshot!) Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com.
