Gravity's very-different-looking Double Dragon 2 remake, subtitled Wander of the Dragons, breathes fire onto XBLA on April 5 for 1200 MSP. After not hearing anything about it in 18 months, the game surfaced out of nowhere via an achievements listing earlier this month.Major Nelson announced its release date in his XBLA update today, which also notes Games on Demand arrivals for Assassin's Creed 3 today and WWE 13 next week on April 2.The Xbox marketplace major also announced a number of upcoming deals for the platform, in addition to those in the spring sale starting today. Up until April 1, a metamorphic army's worth of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron and War of Cybertron content is half-price including the games themselves. The following week sees several XBLA games also go half-off, including Retro City Rampage, Axel & Pixel, and the territorial vernacular showdown that is Quarrel. Visceral Games' Shereif Fattouh says the 'Awakened' DLC provides "continuation" to Dead Space 3's story, and harkens back a bit more to the franchise's "claustrophobic, psychotic" themes. This trailer is less Armageddon and more Alien, that's for sure. Brace yourself and read our preview here.

Achievements emerged today for Gravity's 3D XBLA remake of Double Dragon 2, subtitled Wander of the Dragons, a bit surprising really since we haven't heard anything about the game in 18 months. The remake, based on the arcade version of Double Dragon 2: The Revenge, was originally earmarked for a September 2011 release, a window it missed somewhat. However, today's listing on Xbox360Achievements doesn't just suggest there's still life in the game, but also that it's due for release soon.Wander of the Dragon, developed by the Gravity-owned Barunson Interactive of MMO Dragonica fame, doesn't much resemble the original game, mixing up a more modern-looking style of beat-em-up with different character designs, as you can see for yourself in the video above - bear in mind that footage is of what was shown back in 2011.

This trailer, which features PC beta footage, shows the sequel to Zeno Clash is sticking hard and true (and painful-looking) to its first-person brawler roots. It also marks the opening of the game's new website. The game itself pummels Xbox Live, PSN, and Steam this spring.

There are two more 50 percenters to finish us off: the Karateka remake kicks in at 400 MSP, while JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD is at 800 MSP.

The entire Call of Duty Xbox 360 line-up launches a charge of concessions in today's Games on Demand sale - well, almost. The very first CoD is MIA, mainly because it's on XBLA and not GoD, which seems like reason enough for draft evasion to us.Calls of Duties 2 and 3, Modern Warfares 1 and 2, and World at War are all down to $9.99, while Black Ops makes a 60 percent drop to $19.99. 2011's Modern Warfare 3 comes in at $29.99, and last of all is Black Ops 2 with $10 off at $49.99.And don't forget, a heap of other Games on Demand are staying discounted until March 4, each one priced at $4.99 or less.

Look out, it's a hungry horde of Resident Evil games infecting Day 3 of Xbox Live's Games on Demand sale, with five of the nibblers dangerously discounted. Shuffling along at half-price are Residents Evils 4-6 and Operation Raccoon City, taking 4 and 5 to to $9.99 and the other two to $19.99. Savings-wise, the pick of the bunch is Code Veronica, with today's discount digesting 75 percent of its insides and only leaving behind a stump of $4.99.As ever - well, until March 4 - there's a groaning mass of other Games on Demand at sale-severed prices, and one of those groaners is Grid. With the second Grid game nearing the finish line, $4.99 is a decent price at which to dive into Codemasters' racer series.

Xbox Live's Games on Demand has the value of convenience, but the games are frequently priced well above their prices at retail. That issue will temporarily be resolved from February 26 through March 4, with the "Ultimate Game Sale."Specific prices aren't offered, but games are being marked down up to 75% for the sale, and the list includes, like, everything. All the Calls of Duties, the Halos, the Batmen, Borderlandses, Metal Gear Solid HD, Dead Island, The Orange Box, etc. Even El Shaddai. Check the list after the break for many more.Yes, these could all be discounted 1% and one game nobody cares about discounted 75%, but XBLM will be worth a look next week just in case.

Halo 4 is laying down the red carpet to provide its Majestic DLC with a royal entrance when it arrives next week on February 25. Like Crimson before it, Majestic brings three new maps to 343 Industries' shooter, each one a small-scale affair. There's the metropolitan wreckage of Landfall, the arena-like Monolith, and the rooftop mayhem of Skyline.Majestic comes with two new playlists too, one a free-for-all for eight players and the other a 4v4 team-based line-up. Also, the new free-for-all Infinity Rumble game type is a timed-exclusive for owners of the DLC. Infinity Rumble is all about earning and using personal ordinance, this doled out for killing stylishly and special medals. The DLC is priced at 800 MSP, and is free to those with the War Games pass. The third map pack DLC, Castle, is coming sometime in April. Given the accuracy so far of this leaked ad from last year, our gut is telling us it's coming April 1. But our gut is also very hungry.%Gallery-179199%

EA revealed nearly two million people have already downloaded the Dead Space 3 demo, at least 10 percent more than the total demo downloads for Dead Space 2. That's a whole lot of space engineers testing out fresh alien dismemberment to a Phil Collins backdrop.Dead Space 3 pre-order figures are also outdoing those of its predecessor, and that, in addition to today's demo figures, must give the publisher hope the series' third entry can be the one to break 5 million sales. The shooter takes one small step onto North American retail shelves tomorrow, before making one giant leap into Europe on Friday.
