While LCD monitors usually have a 400:1 dynamic range (the maximum range between the darkest and brightest portion of the screen), Sunnybrook's High Dynamic Range (HDR) Zeetzen 5 offers a staggering 40000:1 dynamic range on its 18.1-inch screen, so the display is essentially 30 times brighter and the blacks are 10 times darker than what you'll find on any traditional display. We'd kill to bring this baby home, but the HDR is mainly meant for upstanding professional purposes like mechanical CAD and medical imaging.
