iPod Socks are real
To all the haters who thought that those iPod Socks we
posted about a few weeks ago were fake, you can now pre-order them over at the Apple Store (unless being able to
pre-order them is also part of the joke). 29 bucks for a pack of six, but if you want we've got some freshly-washed
Engadget socks we'll let go for even cheaper than that.
[Thanks, Karim and Lars]

they are marketing gods
how much for an engadget sock?
Why doubt the reality of them? After all, iSteve did introduce them during that event with U2 ...
It's not the marketing, it's the blind loyalty of their customers.
I'll take them off engadget's hands for the low-low price of $0.01. Noodge.
It's the marketing that creates the blind loyalty of the customers.
Its apple wanting a slice of the case market that is getting huge.
I'll buy one for $6.99, once someone buys a pack and sells them separately on eBay.
I'll buy a pack and hand them out seperately to my iPod-owning friends for the holidays. That's right, I'll stuff their stockings with another stocking.
thats some expensive socks but kudos to the marketing team who thought of this!
They are such cute socks!
I need an iPod Balaclava.
"I need an iPod Balaclava."
I read that as "I need an iPod Baklava"
Then I thought: Ew.
I'll sell you a ... sock. It may have been used, No warranty. Why no socks for the UK?! Apple, it gets cold in Scotch-Land this time of year!
Apple, Just when I thought you couldn't get any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!
Ok who else wants one? I only need one so we should get in groups of six and buy them. I call dark blue!
i hear isock domain is up for grabs soon!
Grey for a silver iPod mini, orange for a gold one, pink for a pink one, blue for a blue one, green for a lime one, purple for a...hey wait a minute!!! ;)
Just how is this supposed to protect the ipod?
