SIGMAtek's DX720 and DX740 personal video players
SIGMAtek's new DX720 (20GB) and DX740 (40GB) personal video players definitely have the specs down: 6.5-inch
widescreen LCD screen, support for playback of MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, and RMP video files and MP3 and WMA audio files,
CompactFlash memory card reader, IR remote. But then they add a little something to the mix that we haven't seen on any
other PVPs but that makes perfect sense when you think about it: an optional GPS adapter so you can use also it as a
navigation device.

The interface on this thing is beyond atrocious. Plus it has a 2.5mm earphone jack, a very bulky design, and did I mention the god-awful interface? Just to adjust the volume, for instance, you have to press one of the control pads in the right direction (otherwise something else will happen) repeatedly until "volume" appears onscreen, then use the *other* pad to raise or lower the volume. Lots of luck remembering all that.

"Poids 400 grammes sans batterie"
Does this mean that it's 400g, without the battery? That's about 100 grams or so heavier than the Archos i.e. Way to heavy to be lugging around in a pocket.

Now if we can get a touch screen version, my car will have an entertainment console, a GPS receiver and a probable road hazard. :D
