Panasonic's OxyRide runs on two AA batteries
We can't tell what's more bizarre, that Panasonic went to trouble of building an ultralight vehicle called the OxyRide that can transport a single person over a kilometer on just two AA batteries, or that they the reason they made the thing in the first place was just to promote their new AA Digital Xtreme Power camera batteries.

How do they compare with Lithium batteries? If they are to be available in other battery sizes and actually deliver not only the voltage,but better discharge rates they will sell zillions. Probably will sell zillions anyway though
I agree with Andrew. I want one of those cars, or at least the plans. I would add solar cells in adition to regular batteries. Still moving 150 lbs. 1.2Km on 9 to 10.5 Watt hours is pretty impressive,
