Terratec Grabster AV 400 mobile gets all grabby
Capturing video on PC laptops has been problematic for quite some time. While USB solutions exist, few PC cards have braved these shallow waters. The Terratec Grabster AV 400 mobile PC card promises to get your video sources one step closer to laptop medal. From a spec standpoint, it appears to be fine—S-Video and Composite inputs as well as audio in. Unfortunately, their software can be buggy, making what should be a simple procedure one of aches and pains. But, again, it does do something people want. It lists for £200, which isn't cheap, so you'll have to really want to capture some video on that laptop.
