Sony's DHG-HDD250 hits the streets in January

Yo, Sony, be like the rest and put out a freaking press release, okay? Because we don't like taking retailers' words for it when you're supposedly releasing such a decked out DVR, especially after you promised it this last fall (which we told you about before). The recorder, if you've forgotten, has a 200/30hr low/hi-def recording time, CableCARD slot, integrated program guide, 2 composite, 2 S-Video, HDMI, component HD, and digital audio outs, USB port, Memory Stick PRO slot, and Dolby 5.1 support. And a number of online retailers have it listed with a late January release. We've already got ours on preorder (but then we had to kill it because we maxed out the company card with the $800 pricetag).
