FIC unveils Vassili Linux-based PMP

FIC Vassili

If you know us, you know that we just can't get enough of personal media players (PMPs). Well, here's another one. The FIC Vassili is a Linux-based PMP with a 3.6-inch screen and the requisite 20GB hard drive, TV/audio-out, USB 2.0 and 10/100 ethernet ports. While the device only supports Linux at the moment, the company says it is capable of running Windows CE. There's no launch date yet, but it looks like it will retail for around $500. FIC is also making the unit available to OEMs for rebranding, so we'll probably be seeing a lot more of this one in the months to come.
