New Jersey thinking about requiring alarms for cameraphones

Personally we think that cameraphones should come with built-in mini-flare guns that fire a signal flare whenever you're about to snap a picture, but the New Jersey Assembly is thinking about passing a law that would require cameraphones to emit some sort of beep or flash of light whenever a picture is taken to protect people's privacy (it's a good thing there are no non-cellphone cameras that are small enough to take a sneaky pic of someone). If the law gets passed it's doubtful that any cellphone manufacturers would bother making special versions of their handsets just for New Jersey, but even if they did any pervy types desperate to snap a few photos in gym locker rooms could probably figure out how to disable any beeps or flashing lights. Those guys usually know where you can buy duct tape.
