Garmin releases iQue 3600a Palm OS aviation GPS handheld
Garmin has just released the iQue 3600a, a Palm-based GPS handheld specifically for aviation enthusiasts (it's a Palm for pilots!). The device has a yoke-mounted cradle, and built-in basemap, terrain, obstacle and Jeppesen databases. It also has everything you'd find on other Garmin iQue devices, including PIM applications and automotive turn-by-turn capabilities. Suggested price for the iQue 3600a is $1,099 and there's an optional auto kit available for $219.

And I assume b/c it's for pilots, it won't interfere w/ any "functions" of the plane unlike every electronic device I am not allowed to use on a plane, no ???
The pic makes it look like this is simply an iQue 3600 with a new snap on device that adds the aviation functionality. Does that mean an iQue 3600 owner can add the 'a' part for just a few hundred bucks?
And if Garmin can create an accessory like this, what other iQue Add-ons might be possible?
