The SensorBin hands-free trashcan
To be perfectly honest, we've been looking for something like the SensorBin, a trashcan with an IR sensor that triggers the lid when you get within 6 inches of it. After all, who wants to deal with balky foot pedals, or worse, actually have to touch the lid of their trashcan? Depending on capacity, this wonder of modern technology can be yours for between €99 and €139. Though it looks like there's no U.S. distributor yet, similar models are available from U.S. vendors such as iTouchless.
