Final Fantasy's Sakaguchi's bringing his A-game to the Xbox 2/360

Hironobu Sakaguchi

This isn't to be confused as the Final Fantasy series making yet another industry-shaking move from Nintendo to Sony and now to Xbox, but it might please you to learn that lengendary FF creator Hironobu Sakaguchi's announced his Mistwalker game studio has joined up with Microsoft Game Studios to co-develop two new RPGs for Microsoft's next-gen Xbox 360 console. Again, don't be expecting that Final Fantasy namesake—it belongs to Square-Enix, afterall—but do expect the same outstanding quality that the man himself brought to FFI-IV (that FF VI and later took a markedly downward turn was no surprise). And for what it's worth, he claims to be really up on what MS has coming for their console in terms of capabilities, which he claims will allow him "to bring to life an array of ideas that [he has] had for many years".
