Beating a dead Voom to death
Somehow, it ain't over yet. Charles Dolan, undaunted by the actual shutdown of the Voom website, has apparently set up an entirely different website through which to take orders for… well, for exactly what, we're not sure — it's not like he has anywhere to broadcast from. Seems like Dolan has managed to buy a smidgeon of extra time from Cablevision in which to put together a buyout plan, and in the meantime expects users will actually sign on to complete nothingness. On top of it all, he's incurred the curiosity of the SEC, who may soon be taking a peek behind the scenes to find out exactly what the heck is going on with the company that just will not die.
