N-Gage drops price to a hundred bucks

N-Gage QD

If Nokia really wanted the N-Gage to be successful from the start, they should have taken a page out of game console handbook: when introducing a platform, dump them onto the market as quickly and cheaply as possible (hey, you might even need to take a loss), and make up lost ground in software licensing. But if your overpriced platform isn't selling well, you're going to look mighty desperate if you were to, say, drop the price to a $100 on a normally $200 unit (ahem). Then again, maybe this quick price drop in N-Gages has a little something to do with a certain contraband truck shipment of devices that we saw to Mexico this week. Or maybe it's just because everyone misses sidetalkin', who knows.
