U.S. military to use camera-equipped mini-drone

The U.S. military's love affair with battlefield robots continues with the Honeywell Micro Air Vehicle, a 4-HP drone that can steer itself based on pre-programmed coordinates, fly or hover at heights of up to 10,000 feet and snap footage with two onboard videocams. We don't anticipate it happening, but if Honeywell ever releases a civilian version of this, we're ready to snap one up. In the meantime, we'll have to settle for our homegrown kite-cam.
