VerifyNow Aspirin System doles out proper doses
San Diego-based Accumetrics has developed a system for home use called VerifyNow that can accurately predict the necessary dose of Aspirin for a particular patient. Apparently, many people taking Aspirin as a preventative medicine are actually resistant to it, requiring a very specific dosage. There's an explanation of how the VerifyNow system works on Accumetric's site but, to be honest, it went right over our heads. But we'll take their word for it.
