It's that time again; here are our HDTV recommendations for the upcoming week. Some of these selections are available over the air (OTA), while others are available from your cable or satellite television provider, so check your local listings for the details.

Sunday, 7/24: "Alien Saga" on Monsters-HD at 11:30 PM. Get behind the scenes with the cast and crew of the four Aliens movies. Find out how all of the fear was made. (1080i)


Monday, 7/25: "Serengeti Symphony" on Discovery-HD at 9:00 PM. Programming like this is the reason to plunk down all that money on a big HDTV. View the colorful fauna and flora of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania set to music. (1080i)

Tuesday, 7/26: "Space Shuttle Discovery: Return to Flight" on HDNet starting at 6:00 AM. HDNet carries exclusive NASA coverage up through the anticipated launch at 10:30 AM. Fourteen HD cameras provide all of the excitement. (1080i)

Wednesday, 7/27: "A Few Good Men" on TNT-HD at 8:00 PM. Watch the riveting 1992 classic starring Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, Kevin Bacon, Keifer Sutherland, and of course, Jack Nicholson. (1080i)

Thursday, 7/28: "The British Open: Womens Golf" at 10:00 AM. Two weeks ago it was Tiger's turn as "king" of The Old Course. Who will wear the crown of "queen" at Royal Birkdale? (1080i)

Friday, 7/29: "Arrested Development" on Fox at 8:00 PM. It's a quadruple-play as Fox airs four consecutive episodes in HD. (720p)

Saturday, 7/30: "All the President's Men" on HDNet Movies at 10:00 PM. The 1976 classic in High Def. If you've never witnessed Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman in the Watergate scandal-based story, now is your chance. (1080i)
