Nextel gets the Motorola i760

Nextel Motorola i760

Not that we ever expect to be wowed by the design of a Nextel handset (the businesses that usually snap up Nextel phones have more utilitarian concerns), but there's something almost disingenuous in describing their latest clamshell, the Motorola i760, as "stylish" and "fashionable." Sorry, but this one's just as clunky as all the rest. Looks aside, the i760 does come with built-in GPS (like most new Nextel handsets), a 176 x 220 pixel LCD screen, and support for Direct Connect, Group Connect, and Direct Talk (but not Group Talk, mind you). Retails for $150 after rebate and with a two year service agreement.
