Samsung upgrades Miniket to 4 megapixels, goes SD

Samsung's Miniket (the original model, not the funky sports version) still seems like an odd little digital camcorder, holding what may be a not-so-sweet spot in the market between cheap models from Aiptek and Mustek and higher-end ones like the JVC Everio. Judging from the latest version, it looks like Samsung is having no problem pulling further away from the low-end units (no surprise there) with a 4 megapixel 3CCD sensor (up from the original's 1.3 megapixels), 10x optical zoom and an SD slot (a welcome change from the Memory Stick slot found on earlier versions). Sounds great; the real question here is whether this unit will be priced at a level to make it a reasonable alternative to buyers considering a hard-drive based Everio.
