Mod your laser printer to totally shred
If your printer had a "reverse" button, it might work something
like the modded Xerox laser printer cooked up by InventGeek's Jared Bouck. After gutting most of the printer's
internals, Jared added new circuitry and a shredding unit, with the end result being a desktop shredder that can slice
through 25 pages a minute. Of course, the mod ended up costing more than many pre-made shredders, and you can forget
about using your laser as a printer once you've done this, but if those things really matter to you, chances are you're
not going to attempt this mod in the first place.

OLD NEWS, just because this was posted on slashdot its considered "news worthy" Hell I saw this on tomshardware.com like 3 weeks ago...
Should be a lot of government orders for this one.
Finally! I can just print Agrippa direct to the default printer.
a device that would make richard nixon himself proud.
for secure destruction of documents, what about loading them in like regular paper, and then laser printing a black square over everything?
if only the us government had one of these!
Although I guess we would need a people shredder for all the loose ends as well ;)
Not to mention that in order to build the thing you have to buy two paper shredders...
My laser printer seems to have a document destroyer built-in. My problem is that it does it whenever I try to print.
