Mazda's Sassou door locks go USB
It's not as though we implicitly trust a hundred-fifty year old cylindrical pin tumbler lock design to keep our cars safe from unauthorized intrusion; call us old fashioned though, but something about ditching that design entirely in favor of a USB flash-drive based solution seems a little, uh, you know. But that's exactly what Mazda's doing on their Sassou—which is thankfully only a concept car design (with a name apparently inspired by a rather peculiar oceanographer).
