It seems that there's never a bar around when you really need one, like on days when your editor keeps nitpicking
your minor grammatical errors and harping on your use of so-called "inappropriate humor." [You should have seen this
post before I got my hands on it. -Ed.] Well those days are over, friends, as now the super-strong among us
can carry around our very own portable, inflatable pubs, complete with faux stone siding and tin roof. Measuring 40 x
19 x 22-feet, Airquee's temporary shelter for the alcoholic-on-the-go can be inflated in around 10 minutes (with two
small pumps) and is able to pack in 30 of your closest pals. A sturdy, internal aluminum frame can be used for hanging
speakers, plasmas, or a disco ball, and doubles as a safety-measure should one of your guests accidently spill that
flaming Dr. Pepper all over those plastic walls.

At first glance, I thought this was a screen shot of an rpg video game.
this is awesome, why didn't I think of this? It has so many applications and now that someone has changed the presentation it rocks!

Mind you #2 that this is a blog not a news site about everything new. However this is new to me and i want it!!! looks so cool! It would fit well in the field in my backyard :)

While you are clearly excellent at criticism, it is just as clear that you really have no idea what Engadget is all about. I will try to explain it to you in very precise terms.
Engadget is a website that collects stories from hundreds of other sites, that they believe their readers will find interesting. They then summarize these longer stories into funny, informative, bite-sized pieces, always citing the original source, just as your beloved GadgetryBlog does.
Yes, not all of the products featured are brand-new. However, many important people read the site, people who do not have as much free time as you must to gather every single press release from every single company on the planet. Therefore, these busy people enjoy going to one place where they can discover both brand-new products as well as products that are just new to them.
P.S. Be sure to let us know when GadgetryBlog gets a first look at a brand-new anything, let alone a new Treo.

This thread is cracking me up. I went to that dude JimK's website and it's f'in terrible, all misspelled and sh*t. He should probably spend more time working on the quality of his site (its google page rank is a frickin 4) and less time talkin smack about about real sites or raffling off his crappy old ipods.

Meanwhile, back on Planet Earth, Engadget is a website that receives press releases from manufacturers complete with product photos, and publishes them under the pretence that they're journalists reporting news. Whichever PR firm sent the release to Gadgetryblog, sent it to Engadget too.
