Is Project Gotham Racing 3 high-def?

Well, Joystiq uncovered this pic from a review build of PGR3 that captures at 1024x600 which falls a bit short of high definition. Microsoft has even stated that all the games are going HD. This was supposed to be a major launch title to shoot us into the high definition era but is it really shoving us into an enhanced era instead?

Sometimes though, resolutions are not everything. Check out the pic 'cause the 1024x600 sure is great looking and a quick frame rate, the lower res might not be noticable. Joystiq points out that even though it may not be HD it has been labeled as "the most visually impressive game" to launch for the 360. They sure do have the goods to back it up; check out the pic. The source, MoonFace, does point out that the menu is in HD, outputting a 1024x720 resolution.
