Sony auctions celeb-modded Vaios for charity
If Sony's svelte Vaio FJ isn't chic enough for you in its current black, white, red and blue cases, how about getting one customized by Jessica Alba or Elijah Wood? Sony has teamed with those stars and several other celebs to create a series of one-of-a-kind FJs that the company will auction off to help raise money for food bank America's Second Harvest. The laptops will tour selected Sony Style stores over the holiday season, before being listed on eBay in January. We were hoping for a Paris Hilton model loaded up with, er, home movies and built-in security breaches, but we'll just have to settle for one pimped out by Paris pal Nicole Richie and DJ AM. But perhaps the best part of this whole thing is that Sony's actually calling this "Pimp my PC," a sober name wholly appropriate for a food-charity auction.
